New in town and went here because of the better reviews compared to the other cleaners. Brought a dress shirt in to be cleaned. First thing is the customer service was awful. They charged me $7.68 for one shirt, gave them $10 and they shorted me $1 in change. Didn't realize it at first, but I really didn't want to mess with it. They asked for a number but never called me when they finished. Just don't bother.

I used and loved this cleaners for many years, until they changed hands a couple years ago. Since then, we have to endure completely rude behavior every single time we enter this facility. They seem to do a good job on my shirts, but the prices more than doubled, almost overnight a few years ago. I just wish they would say "thank you"occasionally. That would help.

They have lost multiple items and refuse to pay replacement costs. Lost 2 ties - found , then mixed up shirt with another again found and exchanged, then lost a expensive blouse could not find and paid only portion off cost, then now gave us a cheap blouse instead of $80 blouse I left even though our number was like 245 and the cheap blouse was someone with number 244 and they still could not retrieve it. That's more than 3 strikes.

Sadly, we have tolerated the horrible customer service and outright rudeness since this business was sold to new owners. I can't let this bad behavior and service continue without commenting. I recently took one simple linen blouse to be cleaned. I was informed that the price would be 'higher' since I only had one item. $7.99 plus tax for one blouse! But the outrageous price aside, I have never EVER been treated so rudely by a business. The woman working the desk when I entered, never even looked up at me - no greeting, no hello, no nothing! I have heard from many former customers that they hav been treated rudely as well. I will NEVER EVER utilize Best Cleaners again and will tell anyone who listens about their horrible customer service.

About the only dry cleaning I need is my tux after the end of Symphony season and this has been my go-to place for the past several years. They always do good work and deliver on time.

I’ve been coming here since moving to this area, and for the most part they have done a good job (every now and then, a button would get broken). However, this last visit, I dropped a single shirt off for laundering and pressing, and the price was $8.66.To their defense, there is a faded and wrinkled sign on their window, that says there is a minimum order of two shirts (which was pointed out to me after the charges were made). Regardless, $8.66 for two shirts would be outrageous.

I needed some items dry cleaned so I figured I'd give this business a shot. I walked in with a reusable canvas bag of items, the lady at the counter didn't greet me, took my items, handed me a ticket (to redeem my items at pick up) and that was it. I had to ask when I would be able to return for my items to which she answered curtly. I thanked her and wished her a good rest of her day to which I never received a reply. Upon pick up, I handed the same lady my ticket, she went away to grab my items and came back to ring everything up. I asked her if I can have my bag back and pointed to it laying on the floor among other bags. She seemed very annoyed that I would ask for such a thing but she grabbed my bag and threw it on the counter for me. I paid my ticket (which I wish I would have known the total before hand but I was never given a quote), took my items and left. The lady didn't seem to care at all that I had brought her my business and for that reason I will be taking my business elsewhere.

I’ve been coming to Best cleaners for two years driving from the West side of Galveston. I dropped my stuff off before 8am Monday and able to pick up that evening. We even requested one day. Here it is Tuesday and they tell me it won’t be ready until Wednesday. My problem is I leave town at 4am for business meetings. Not sure what’s happened with their management but their service has become less than par. Time to move to the next one.
