I was driving back from a trip and 125 miles from home when the alternator in my GM Yukon died. I've worked on enough cars when I was a kid 50 years ago to be pretty sure that was the problem.
I was close to a GM dealer so I stopped there and he plugged in the diagnostic tool in the plug under the dash and it said the alternator was fine but the battery was dead.
I left there and when the engine died the AAA tow truck recommended i take it to Autocare Pro's.
The owner Mike Taft came asked what was going on with it and immediately said it was probably the alternator but he would run diagnostics check and let me know in about 30 minutes.
It was 3:30 and he said they closed at 5:00 but would see what he could do to get it replaced. I was pretty sure I'd be spending the night there hoping to be lucky it done by the next day. I left there and went across the street to get something to eat and look for a hotel somewhere. An hour and a half later Mike called and said it was ready.
He had 3 cars in his garage bays ahead of mine and got mine done to get me back on the road.
He's been in business over 25 years and obviously knows how to figure out the problem more accurately than a plug in tool at the GM dealer.
The name Autocare Pro's fits. Excellent Customer service and very fair price considering i was in a bad situation.

Mike is very knowledgeable when it comes to cars and what does and does not need to be done. Had a quote other places and couldn’t believe the cost it would be to repair my car. I took it to Mike and felt like my car was in good hands and I wasn’t being ripped off. Great communication and great work! My car run smoothly again! will be taking it here from now on for everything my car needs.

We had our ac system recharged and an ac leak fixed. It blow super cold again. We arrived at approximately 10:30 am and he diagnosed our system and informed us it needed recharging and a leak repaired. He called us approximately 30 minutes after arrival with the next steps and cost of repair. He said it would be approximately 2-2.5 hours on the repair. He called approximately 1.5- 1 hour 45 minutes later and told us everything was done. He showed my wife what was wrong via a video and what he did to fix the leak and gave additional information on the recirculating air gate wasn’t working but we chose not to get that done. Overall the owner was very informative, kept us up to date and well informed on what he was doing and finished the job in an impressive timely manner.

My engine was leaking oil like a sieve. Turns out Jeep manufactures my car model with a plastic filter housing that eventually fails(an apparent common failure issue). Mike fixed the issue and replaced the part with a new aluminum filter housing so the leak will not occur ever again. I also had the transmission fluid replaced since I was in the shop.
