“I had to have the catalytic converters replaced again. On most cars it is a simple job but on a Honda Odssey it is a nightmare. Three different units in hard to get to places. I had this done at another shop two years ago and they took a month. These guys took two working days and also replaced bad spark plugs. I like this shop.
I had a very bad but simple problem. My appointment was at 9am but I got there early and they started asap. It was a really bad oil leak that could have killed the engine but it was the oil filter housing. They cleaned the bottom of the motor, found the leak and replaced the gasket seal. They were done in four hours. These guys were not cheap but they know what they are doing. I like this place.”

“We drove our RV from the Twin Cities down to Austin but got a flat tire in Denton, TX. This shop was the 4th place we called and no one else was willing to touch an RV or even look at the tire, well Afford It didn't even bat an eye. They came out, started work right away and did a fantastic job. We were in and out in about 20 minutes. Very honest and hard working!”
“The difference between auto repair shops can be subtle, but in this case, it was significant. My daughter, a UNT grad student, had a steering issue, and since I'm an hour away, trust is crucial.
Our first experience at a popular shop with great reviews and highly recommended was disappointing: they never mentioned, either in writing or over the phone, a $127 diagnostic fee. More importantly, my daughter felt she was not treated warmly or kindly.
Then we found Barebones Auto Repair, again recommended by both UNT parents and Google reviews. They are the complete opposite. They do what they say, when they say it. There are no hidden charges, only fair, upfront prices and a fast turnaround. The people are warm, friendly, and professional. This was as positive of an auto repair experience as you could hope for.
While it’s only been one visit, I'm already a huge fan!”

“My tire had been losing air for quite some time, and being a female. I admit I didn’t really know where to get it fixed since it has to have something other than actual air. I stopped at discount tires in Louisville and asked them to look at it. Giorgio and the team there despite being incredibly busy, said no problem they would be happy to look at it. They had to take the tire off and imagine my surprise when 30 minutes after their closing time they came out with a smile and told me my car was ready. They had repaired it as I had a screw in it. They did not even charge me and yet had never seen me before in my life. They were so professional and friendly and fast. When I do need new tires, I know where I’m going, I’m going back to Louisville from downtown Dallas and to the same discount tires.”

“They just fixed up my old 2014 Nissan Versa and its running better than it has in years. Family owned, services are priced fairly, and the work is trustworthy. I went to another garage not long ago. They gave me a list of problems with my car. Porters did a full diagnostic and found nothing wrong but spark plugs and resistors needing a change. Thank you guys for always being honest.”
