I'm getting harassing calls daily from these people. There needs to be legal action against companies that use these tactics.

Literally the worst internet provider I've ever had. The only reason why we got them was because it's the only provider my apartments would allow. The internet is constantly slow and if it's not slow then it's not working at all. Which happens a lot. And when you call to ask about your internet being out it takes 20 minutes to connect with someone only to be told \"well I don't see any outage in your area\". We're moving so we called to schedule the canceling our services last week only for them to cut it off a day early, when we called to have them turn it back on we were told it would be at least another week before they could turn it back on and we would have to pay for it. Complete joke of a company. Would rate 0 stars if I could

Unfortunately there are no choices for zero stars! I’m having the similar experiences of many that I am reading about below me. Tried to get service set up in September still no service and have been sent two modems and returned two modems; asked for technical support to come out and see what is going on and why nothing seems to work but instead we get a no-show and we get billed for everything. This nightmare started on September 20 of 2021, and is about to end as far as I’m concerned. I have been charged for two months of service I’ve never received one day of yet and for a tech that never showed up. I have a $256 bill and absolutely have received no service or technical support for. I have spent countless hours on the phone most of the time only to be disconnected or hung up on and no return calls from Century Link; I then turn to their chat link and it’s the same nightmare, it takes forever to text/chat but is a better experience than on the phone. Still very time-consuming and a waste of time because ultimately nothing ever gets accomplished. Absolutely the worst company that you could ever go with but when you’re in a position where it’s the only company available can you try. I am no longer trying I would rather live without Internet then to deal with these people anymore.

The worst customer service, the worst people. I hate this company. I hope the class action lawsuit bankrupts them.

They have deleted many reviews to try and boost their score; this is the third time this week I've had to rewrite this negative review. Connection goes out at least three times a month. Despite paying for high speed I only get 1mbs. When trying to contact them about getting my internet back up after it being down, not concerning this current five day outage I'm experiencing, I have had to wait three hours to talk to one person who asked me for my account number. I told them one minute I need to pull it up so I won't talk, they replied ok, then not even a minute passed while I was getting my account number they hanged up on me! The worst service known to mankind, terrible internet going out constantly, and high prices for terribly slow internet despite quoting higher speeds. The only reason they are still around is because they have a monopoly Iin the area on multiple places, such as my apartment complex. I wish I could switch, but there are no other providers... If you have a choice for the Love for all that is Holy don't come near these people.

The worst internet service anyone could ever use. Never even consider getting it. I moved into an apartment in Corinth & the only internet service they allow is CenturyLink. Let me just say my WiFi goes out at least 4-5 times a week. Horrible customer service, horrible technicians, horrible WiFi. I honestly don’t think there’s any WiFi service as bad as century link.

Always out. Can't speak with a representative or get issues resolved. Next steps, BBB then State Representative, then FCC complaint. Exploring other legal options. As a retired investigator for the great state of Texas I totally have this.

I have used century link for four years. They are awful! Even before covid, my internet would often cut out, but it's been much worse this year. Internet went out 6 days ago. I booked earliest available appointment time and the technician didn't show. And he closed the ticket so I had to call again(so far this week, I've logged 3.5 hours phone and chat time with CL) only to be told that although thet were at fault and wasted a whole day of my time that the next earliest available technician time was in 8 days. Mind you, I've already been without internet for 6 days. Their customer service is a big joke.

I went through the entire account set up process twice for no reason. The first time this young rep I don’t remember his name asked for card information for the deposit we gave him two different cards and he said for some reason they are having technical issues on their end and I would need to be transferred to another department. I said ok and was transferred so I had to give all my information for a third time but instead of giving a deposit the lady recommended I let them run my credit to see if I qualify to not pay a deposit so I did that instead and I indeed did qualify. They sent the modem and set me up to have a tech come out and make sure everything was good to go. The tech came out and said he apologizes but they cannot provide service because my area is at capacity. They ran my credit and it turns out that the first time they ran my card they actually did take out the deposit and all of that was for nothing. Extremely unprofessional they should keep record of areas and when they may be at capacity before they charge people and run their credit.

I switched to CenturyLink due to getting Directv, tech came out at 1pm on Tues and got me set up, by 3pm internet was intermittent, by Wed morning it was not working at all, 2 hours of trying to get to a CSR and my account was not activated yet......fast forward...talked with 4 CSR's and 6 supervisors between Wed am and Thurs pm, having to explain to each one why my phone number is not in THEIR system. Was told twice on Wed tech would be out between 1-5 Wed., got text at 430 Wed saying tech cancelled appt because no one was home, I was here from 1-5. Called after receiving that text and was promised tech would be out at 8am on Thurs, never showed, called at 9am and promised to be out at 10, never showed. Finally showed up at 3pm. So from 1pm Tues, until 3pm Thurs (50 hours) had internet for 2 hours and spent almost 12 hours on phone being lied to and misled. I WOULD PICK ANY INTERNET PROVIDER BEFORE I WOULD CHOOSE CENTURY LINK

Dealing with CenturyLink has been a horrible experience. Unfortunately, my apartment has an agreement with them and they are the only internet provider who can offer service. I ordered new service in February 2020 and as of April 2020, still no service. Today I got a welcome letter stating my April service will be $142! And the service hasn't even been connected yet. In addition, I was quoted one price for service, but because of the delay in getting service established, the price went up by $15 a month AND still no service.
