“I've been going to this HEB in Port Isabel since the day it was built. It's been an excellent store pretty much the whole way. I just want give a shout out to Juan in the deli department. He has always served me with a smile and quality service. Juan is just above the best of any deli person I've ever dealt with. The smile is the key and never questioning my needs keeps me coming to this HEB and loving this deli department. I wish all the employees could be just like Juan. When you go to the HEB in Port Isabel Texas and visit the deli tell JUAN Captain Cliff said hello. I hope Juan gets a huge raise for so many years of excellent service to his customers.

“This is a great grocery store they carry most things a grocery store would. They also have all the flavors of c4 at the checkout of the store and they are selling them at a discount price also!”
“Great place for meat. Someone told us about this little meat market and while e were running errands we visited this place. There’s no prices in the meat case but they are low. We got 2 rib eye prime for around $9/lb and the fajita meat - thin which ran about $12/lb. I’m eating that fajita meat right now as I post this because it’s that good. It’s seasoned just right for my taste and it is very tender. I highly recommend this meat vendor.”

I love the atmosphere (people are always so friendly) I also love that you don't have to walk around feeling like someone is going to try and rob you every step you take! Although this specific location is being remodeled it's still a great place to shop!”
“I really recommend island market. Overall great selection of items that are reasonably priced but it’s best product is it’s fresh meat. They have a variety of cuts from animals that are naturally fed. Would highly recommend going here to get what meat you need for your next BBQ. The butcher is also really knowledgeable.”

“As ghetto as it is, I absolutely love this store. Basically the best and only convenience store with delicious Tacos (Carne guisada) are my fave! And plus u find Basically most of what we need.”
