Thanks to Oskis for updating the Valero canopy and removing those extra bright lights that interfered with night sky viewing! Dark skies in Lago Vista are great for star gazing and bird migration.

Always friendly. They just remodeled the store recently on the inside and it looks amazing. Lots of snack and drink options. If you're driving through Lago Vista, this is a great place to stop for a snack or drink!

Every time I go to this convenience store the staff is friendly and helpful. I am not sure about all the negative reviews I see, I have not see any issue with the staff or pricing, but then, I don't really go looking for that when I visit.

Showed up at 10:50pm ( after calling a head of time to make sure they stayed open till 11pm) and they were closed... if you are going to have store hours 6am-11pm on a Wednesday then you should have to stay open till 11pm.... that is not how you run a business

Wow, while standing in line to purchase my coffee, the cashier walked from the cash register to have a full conversation with someone else while I was waiting.

I love this old store. It has been around for many years. It may not be a big fancy commercial chain store. But this is why I like it. Close to the lakes and Hill country. Winding roads.
