Manager is discriminatory against people with service dogs.
If your dog performs a task that someone views as “aggressive” he will automatically side with the person making the complaint.
My dog barked to alert me that a larger person was quickly approaching me as I was looking at items to put in my cart.
He claimed she was aggressive and got the manager.
The manager claimed service dogs are not allowed to bark-which is untrue.
Many service dogs will bark to alert their handlers for many different reasons.
The manager was unwilling to listen to why she barks or any of my knowledge about service dog.
He told me I was not allowed to return to the commissary with my service dog and kicked me out of the commissary.
This is not the first time I’ve heard about the manager’s discriminatory action to those with service dogs.
I’ve talked to employees being denied the right to bring their service dog to work without paperwork such as doctors note saying they need one, proof their dog is a service dog, a service dog ID, service dog training papers-THIS IS ALL NOT NEEDED!
As long as the dog is trained and is able to perform a task that helps their handler. They don’t need papers, a doctor’s note, or need to know what your disability is.
This manager a disgrace.
You would think being a military base store it would be more sensitive and understanding to people with different disabilities and those with service dogs.
Not returning to this store.

Not too bad commissary. I have been to many all over USA and this one is OK. Better then having to go off base. Just have to accept that these stores are not as big as stores off post and don't have a huge selection. We should all support it when we can because they can close underperfoming stores and have even talked about closing down all of the CONUS stores due to under use. Then our bases are not so special anymore. The commissary is a privilege not a right.

It's been so bad here since they got rid of all the young workers that can pack bags and carry them....I shouldn't be tipping a 60+ year old worker who can barley lift/carry into my car when I end up doing most loading/packing myself...and to not have most ground beef under a pound is ridiculous...it excuse after excuse when I ask why they aren't packed at a 1lb..get yourselves together please because yall have been going downhill for a while now since yall let go of the people who can actually work

Stopped selling Alani Energy drinks. Produce is lacking, bad selection on lots of items and just not an affordable place to shop. H-E-B is 100% the better choice!

Short dated and expired products is totally unacceptable. You have Unique brand pretzels on your club pack aisle that expired on 31 October, that have been there since the first of October, and they are STILL there; we even moved them to another location thinking that the stocker, or maybe 1 of your very few store associates would notice it, but nooooo. That's not just sad, that shows a total lack of concern or integrity with the staff at this commissary.

This place is super convenient if your just picking up some quick things. Make sure you check the expiration date! This commissary is notorious for selling already expired items.

Placement of the shopping carts is a bit inconvenient, but besides that it’s your typical commissary.

I send my husband here to shop about once every 6 months for some pantry items. We never buy fruits/veggies or meat here. The quality is just lacking. But they do have cheaper prices on some items. We do most of our shopping off base.
