LOVE Texas Roots! Melody saved me when I was new to the area and couldn’t find a good hairdresser. One place messed up my hair and another canceled on me the day before a wedding! I called every place in town desperate to get in and only Melody called me back. I never went anywhere after that!
They are my people! I love the atmosphere and the girl time and the friends I have made here. It’s the only place I trust and will ever go to. I never have any idea what to do with my hair and I’m grateful for the advice and experience I get from not only Melody, but all the girls there. They are honest and professional and make you feel like a million bucks! 10/10 WOULD recommend! ❤️

I’ve been seeing Melody Love at Texas Roots since 2017. She’s the only person that touches my hair. My daughter is older, in Junior High, and cares about her appearance. So she only gets her curly hair needs taken care of with Texas Roots. We always leave happy and all smiles!
Requested style: I usually show up to my appointments with a pic or video of a haircut or style I’d like to try. Since I have fine wavy hair, it will never look the same as the pic or video. So, Melody Love always asks what I like about the style and makes suggestions for an improvisation. I’m always happy leaving.

I love going to Texas Roots! The salon is Beautiful and vibrant. The vibes are wonderful and you always feel comfortable. MELODY is amazing, she always has a smile and a great personality. She listens to what you want, she takes her time ensuring everything is perfect and the outcome is always fantastic. I’d definitely recommend her for hair extensions, and anything else your heart desires!!!
Specialties: Extensions. Melody is just amazing with extensions! From color matching and providing recommendations on how to care for your hair. She takes care of it all.
Stylist: Melody is the one to see!! If she’s not available she will recommend you to the stylist based on your needs and all the ladies there do a great job. I’ve been going to this Salon and seeing Melody for 3 years now!!?

I have been going to Melody (the owner) for quite a few years. She is amazing! I trust her enough to give her free rein on my hair. Whether it’s a cut, color, highlighting, or extensions, she has never steered me wrong. I haven’t used any of the other girls in her shop, but the clients I’ve seen leaving, look great! You can’t go wrong at Texas Roots!
