i would like to start off by saying Thank You to everyone at the la porte shop!!!! they got me in and out in just under 3 days and even washed my car for me. its hard to find a family run shop now days that still take pride in there work.

Bad experience. I saw the reviews and I didn’t hesitate to call . I paid the 200$ to have it diagnosed.
It was diagnosed at needed to be rebuilt . He called to tell me that it needed rebuilt and it would cost me $4500 which is ridiculous and I told him just put it back together and I’ll go pick it up,then he called me again to apologized because he was giving me the price from a different car same as mine “kind of Suspicious “. He said we gonna check yours tomorrow (the next day) he end up telling me the same thing and that he could do it for 4000$ he also offer me payments but I said no . The thing is that I took my car with 3 codes related to the transmission and after 4 days I went to pick it up because I wasn’t going to pay almost $5000 for a transmission rebuild when my car worth is probably $8000 .The conclusion is that when I got back home with the car I ran the scanner and now I have like 8 codes related not only to the transmission but to the air sensors and the coils in the engine . I took it because of one problem and they returned it to me worse . So it was a very bad experience at Snider Transmission in LaPorte. Now I have to find another place where they can fix what this guys did to my car . God is watching . God Bless Y’all

Snider is quick to diagnosis my car and rebuild the transmission. They received my car mid day on a Monday and they were done by Friday morning rebuilding the transmission. Another known place gave me an estimate of 4-6 weeks to rebuild, smaller shops told me a full week to rebuild, they got it done in 3 days!The price was very comparable to the 2 other shops I inquired with, but they give a 2 year warranty. I am very glad my spouse looked into their business and saw they were BBB accredited, and had really good reviews, and so many local locations to choose from. Thank you Mr. Mike for getting me my Luke back!
