Went to an estate sale run by Mike's. Prices were fair for items and Mike was willing to negotiate. Nice sale! Would visit other sites run by Mike's.

This is a long overdue review but every experience being a patron at their sales has been great, my family and I have been to multiple of Mike's Estate sales and we look forward to each one every time. We found the first initial estate sale on EstateSales.net and we were very excited to attend due to the quality of antiques and vast amount of pictures we were able to view. Mike and Tammy are extremely welcoming and since my young daughter loves 'antiquing' and thrifting she comes along and they were very friendly from the start. We FIND ultimate treasures at great prices- the prices are very reasonable and they do give discounts on the last days so you'll want to go back repeatedly! I don't get out much but Mike's Antiques and Estate sales is always worth going to in every way if you want to find rare and extraordinary collectibles and pieces at a great price within a family friendly atmosphere. Coming from a lifetime multi collector 5 stars isn't enough! Thank you!

Have done business with Mike several times over the past few years. We have always been welcomed by him and his wife. Always has some of the coolest things you never knew you were looking for!

If you could buy this dude for what he's worth and sell him for what he thinks he's worth, you could retire pretty flush. I watched him yesterday at a poorly set up sale and he could not disguise his contempt when someone asked him for prices (for unmarked items!!)I saw him name 3 different prices, for costume jewelry within 5 minutes of each other. He also had tiny baby parrots for sale, right in the middle of all the traffic and noise. I don't know anything about tiny baby birds, but surely that can't be good for them. Lastly, the poor chick taking money struggles with simple math. It's possible that she's just anxious, with the overlord standing behind her screaming for people to shut the door, even as they were carrying out their purchases. That's my second and final sale with this asshat running it. Read the texts below if you are thinking of doing any kind of business with this dude. I wish there were negative stars to choose from.

Mike is a real gentleman. He worked with my entire family and performed a Blow Out sale, very successful! He knows this business inside out and can bring a family together to make it a success! I will use him at my next sale! Scott

The owner Mike Henley is a disgusting individual. He got caught on camera throwing rocks, insults, and harassing employees who were sent by the landlord in which they had permission to be there. Mike's little man syndrome or mental disorders were clearly portrayed in the videos and I wouldn't trust him running any business let alone having a civil professional interaction with customers. The disgusting behavior shown by Mike in the videos will ensure that his businesses will not succeed. Enjoy your business failures!

Considering Mike's antics on video throwing rocks at workers and harassing a black police officer, Its especially concerning that one of the few positive comments about his business is just to be pleased he sells German WWII memorabilia...Nazi gear. So yeah, I guess Mike's your guy if you're looking for N*** knick knacks.

I was in Mike's Antiques recently and witnessed a beautiful site, a young woman early twenties trying on a full length "wool" German officer's winter coat from WW2. She asked me what I thought (it's July and extremely hot outside!!!) it actually fit her great and I told her how well she looked in it. She said she had been saving up for a long time and how she admired looking at the coat every time her Dad took took her into the store (her Dad seemingly liked antiques). She looked at herself one last time and said "today is the day I'm buying this coat I can't wait any longer" The enthusiasm this young woman demonstrated was priceless, like a bride finding the perfect wedding dress. The store had an item which fulfilled this young lady's dreams of looking incredible for years to come. Bottom line if you're looking for that special gift or item that is hard to find, good chance you might find it hanging up in little antique shop just waiting for the "right" person to come along. The customer's smile was very memorable as she stood there at the register absolutely beaming with her "wool" coat just waiting for that next cold snap. So if you see a pretty young 20's year old girl walking down main street in La Porte wearing an antique full length German's officers coat from WW2 --- ask her where she got it!

Mike handled the estate sale for my parents home. He did a great job keeping us informed and his estimate on our total value came in a little higher than he projected. We are from out of state so we were very pleased with the process. He came across a couple of pieces of jewelry from underneath furniture and called to make sure we didn't want them. We received payment promptly. I would use Mike's services again if the need arose.

Mike Henley is mad and rude person if you are doing business with him or his family move on you will regret it. I purchased a bird from him they sent me a bird without DNA certificate. Upon asking he started cursing me out and calling me names. I hope he loses his business soon people like him are poison in the society.
