The cashier, with black hair and heavy makeup, looks like she’s doped up and has a slow response time. When I asked if I could pay here she didn’t even say anything just looked at me with a blank stare.

Came in to do a cash purchase and load cash onto a card. The young lady shorted me $11 change probably because she was interrupted numerous times by somebody wanting a price check which she did stop my transactions to help him when I asked her for my receipt she got it out of the trash when I got home it was not the correct receipt I went back to the store when I realized my change had been shorted and waited on the incompetent over 40 minutes for her to look at a tape and then tell me first she couldn't find me and second because I had added silver change to my total I must have paid the girl in change. In addition to not speaking English very well I called six times before going back and had no answer and was told when I arrived they don't have a phone it's disconnected horrible customer service horrible service. And I don't understand why you would throw my receipt in the garbage unless you fully intended to not give me my money. At this point I believe I'm dealing with thieves and I have contacted corporate I just hope you all watch your money better than I did. I would love to see if on July 2nd the young lady working the morning and afternoon shifts till comes over the $12 I was shorted as I know how many $20 bills I had when I entered the store and when I left again beware of this location

Trashy. Employee openly engaging with a customer loudly at the register about beating children and how they are for it. Very unprofessional and unsettling.

This is an update to a review made awhile ago which was a 1 star. The store has made many changes looks more like a Dollar General. (Same floor plan) but best of all the staff has changed. Cashiers are friendly and helpful. Manager is on top of things going on at the store. So I'm changing rating from 1 Star to 4. Would give 5 stars if floor plan was not a copy of other branded store.

Violent belligerent employees. On 11/27/2022, at approximately 8:50 pm, I was the victim of a verbal assault by the two employees on duty..After paying for my items, the male employee followed me outside seeking a verbal end physical altercation..There was also a basket partially blocking the entrance of the door from the inside to inconvenience the customers as they entered the store..This is a violent and unsafe location..BEWARE..

Not wanting to go to a big store I went to the family dollar store in Laporte they had the exact cleaning supplies and name brand i was looking for which made it great .No long lines to stand in and no self checkout which i really liked. The lady behind the counter was extremely nice and very knowledgeable about where the products i was looking for were. Store was clean and well stocked.
