I took my boat to Mickey's Marine in La marque Texas for warranty work he even asked me if that's all that I wanted him to do and I said yes. All summer two and a half months later he called to say my boat is ready it was a simple starter issue. Well I go to pick it up and there's a $1,300 bill that I owe.i did not give him my approval he decides he wants to do a full maintenance oh my motor. Never once did he call me and asked me if I wanted him to do that work I do all that work myself. So no this guy is dishonest and I would not recommend him to the devil.

Mickey and Son Mickey are first class, no B…S… guys. After problems with Clear Lake Area shop I took by boat to Mickeys. Another shop gave me a run around, wasted six weeks of my time, and did basically nothing. They charged $700 to remove contaminated oil and then told me it would cost another $1,500 to diagnose the problem. Mickey did the diagnostics for $250. Then he replaced the head with a low-hour unit he had and preformed completed maintenance on lower unit. Provided a warranty on labor and parts. Work completed on time as promised. My advice: Stay away from the Seabrook/Kemah repair shops and go to Mickey’s.
