The staff is very knowledgeable about both yarn works and fabric works. My daughter wasn't sure how much she needed for a project. The staff helped her with the conversions and even recommended the best type of yarn for what she was making. I found several fabrics for my next quilt projects. Can't wait to go back.

Quite literally an outstanding quilt shop located in historic LaGrange, Texas?. We loved the warm and friendly greetings by all the staff and even other hoppers during our shopping visit! Loads of beautiful fabrics to choose from, we took some time and browsed heavily. We loved chatting with ladies while they promptly cut our fabric during the 2024 All Texas Shop Hop. Glad we came and really look forward to returning next year, this is one classy shop?

The shop has wonderful fabric, yarn, gifts, and a fabulous, friendly staff! I found the shop as it is next door to the Texas Quilt Museum in LaGrange. After returning home, I have ordered online from them. When I called them with questions, they were equally friendly on the phone as they were in person. Great shop!

Beautiful colorful shop. Gorgeous yarns, highest quality quilt fabrics. Kaffe, Tula, Theodora’s Pearls, and Urth—to do a bit of name dropping. Samples give you lots of inspiration for quilting or knitting.

The Quilted Skein is an awesome independent quilt store. They have Out Of Print (OOP) fabrics by Kaffe Fassett Collective. I was able to purchase 3 yards of this beautiful Phillip Jacobs - Painted Daisy for a reasonable price!
