Our RV was a total loss due to storm in the San Marcos area, this was in March. We have called and called to get the Gap Vehicle Service Contact cancelled so we can get our pro rated refund. No one is re turning our call. I guess I should move forward with an official complaint with the BBB.

Blue Compass RV is a great place to visit & shop for rv’s! Everyone I met and who helped me in the buying process was very professional, kind, knowledgeable & caring. My sales representative Yohannes was excellent! Hedi in the finance department was outstanding. The service advisor was super helpful with questions that I had about my rv maintenance & protective supplies. The sales manager Mike personally greeted me while I was there, & offered valuable advice/information to me while he was sweeping the floor. They have a beautiful facility with great accessibility, lots of inventory to choose from, parts & supplies, & a friendly team to serve their customers.
After picking up the new fifth wheel rv, upon arrival to my residence I found the bathroom mirror had fallen off of the wall, multiple window screens not completed locked into place, the entertainment center sub woofer not working, no exterior shower head included, weather striping fell off passenger side storage compartment door, rear passenger side stabilizer safety lighting mount fallen off, underskirt self tapping screws stripped and falling out, and I haven't even gotten to check the water & septic systems nor the appliances. These are all minor issues, however I would think that there would be a check list that must be completed before an rv leaves the lot & that these particular things would be included in that list. I was told that I was responsible for returning the new rv at my expense to their shop in order to address these issues. This is my personal opinion, but if someone is going to sell something especially as such a high value & guareeting great customer service with their protection plans, and right out of the gate tell their customer that they are responsible for everything involved in getting the unit back to the shop and then picking it up again once the issues have been resolved. I see that as not putting the customer first. In my opinion great customer service sometimes includes being willing to cover the cost of something in order to do the right thing. I understand that is a challenge to manage sometimes because there are people who unfortunately want to take advantage of a situation and/or are never satisfied no matter how much you do to help them. In this particular case, all of these issues can be addressed in the field. However Blue Compass apparently does not perform warranty related work in the field...only in their shops. I have done everything that my sales rep has asked me to do as far as notifying management about the issues, and I still have not received a response from any of the managers except for Mike the sales manager who wasn't even included in the list of people that I was told to notify. Although he has reached out to me, I still have not received any communication from the people I was told to notify. I don't know if they are all of the office at this time or are actively working on how to handle these issues, but they have not responded and it's been two weeks since I pick up the unit brand new from their lot. Again, not big issues here....to me it's the principle of the matter. You sell something new at a high value, you tell the customer it's ready for pick up, they schedule a time out of their busy schedule to pick it up expecting it to be completely ready to use right out of the gate b/c it's brand new, they barely get out of the gate with it and there's "little" things that are not right or that are missing, and you tell them that they are responsible for the cost and time associated with getting the unit back to the shop and then picking it up again afterwards...in my opinion is not good customer service. If this is how it works here locally, it makes me wonder how well will they take care of the customer when the unit is across country and something warranty related happens.

I purchased a preowned travel trailer from Blue Compass everyone was great. My sales person Mike who was also the sales-manager, was incredible. He was very knowledgeable and patient. We have already referred my mom to him. They had a great experience as well

This 1 star review is strictly for the repairs department and Managers in that Dept. Everytime I have to take travel trailer in for repairs work does not get done correctly and have to take back for a second time. Their quality of work goes unchecked by QA or Managers and since I have to travel a way to get it there this is very frustrating... also have to pull teeth to get an appointment to fit my schedule. I never had so many issues dealing with other customer service work

We have purchased an Alliance Paradigm, and we could not be happier with the customer service we received! Every staff we spoke to was incredibly kind and helpful, if they could not answer a question, they picked up a phone and made a call or found someone that could answer it. We have never found this type of exceptional service before and this is our eighth RV.
Our salesman, Weston, kept us updated on every stage of the RV, where it was, when it was ready, and sent arrival pictures, pictures of it getting coated, and when it was ready for delivery. We could not be happier with our experience!! The way we were treated was nothing short of exceptional! Ask for Weston when you go, he took great care of us and we would purchase from Blue Compass again!

Great experience! They were very thorough in all
communication prior to us arriving to view the RV. They had it set up with power to show us everything. All staff were friendly, knowledgeable, and supportive. They were actually really excited for us when we got approved, and they worked hard to help us get approved. The entire process was pleasurable. So excited to pick up our RV from them!
