It took eight months to fix the vehicle with hail damage. After the repair was done after several calls and ignored phone calls and text we finally got the vehicle back. However, that was not the end of our problems. We got a bad part and we asked for that to be prepared since it was related to the repairs he had done. Five months later we have yet to get the part and the vehicle repaired. We cannot use the vehicle to put our son’s wheelchair in.

My wife had her car repaired here it took longer than usual. There was no communication unless I went there personally.
We had a rental that the insurance provided, and it took so long for the repair that it exceeded the rental authorization.
Then Darren verbally and through text assured us he would take care of our rental bill if we kept it, so we did.
When it came time to pay, we got stuck with the rental bill, and the vehicle started falling apart.
Later, we found out that enterprise rental had banned CollisionTex from getting rental for customers because of non-payment.
If you value honesty and good work, then this isn't the place.

Darren went above and beyond to repair my car after being backed into. They picked up my car so I wouldn’t have to be out in inclement weather. He maintained good communication during the repairs. I was worried the pearl paint wouldn’t match but my car looks brand new. It is sparkling clean inside and out. I hope I don’t need them again but if I do, I know right where I’m going. I definitely recommend CollisionTEX Repair Center! Thank you so much Darren! FIVE STARS all the way.

Darren and his team are very welcoming upon my arrival. I dropped my car off early afternoon , and by the end of the day they got back to me and fixed my issue with no problems whatsoever. If theres anywhere you should take your car its CollisionTEX, they will take care of you .

I brought him my part march 22, picked it up today because he still hadnt started. The only communication I had in that time was to tell me it would be a few weeks because he had to order different fiberglass. That was 10 weeks ago.

If you’re in need of body/ paint repair I strongly recommend CollisionTEX. Darren is very knowledgeable, honest and trustworthy. Excellent work, great customer service and reasonable price! For several years I’ve had some repairs done on my vehicles. All I can say is they definitely have always done excellent work!!! Thanks CollisionTEX!!!

Amazing!!! CollisionTEX worked on my car and I'm so happy with the results. They finished fast and were responsive, and they made sure to work with my price budget and do whatever they could to help. They also cleaned the exterior and Darren even offered to drop off my car to me! 100% recommend!

I initially never intended to write this review for this place, but after I recently saw someone literally picketing this place on I-35 in the sun, I decided maybe I should say something about this business.
Awhile ago, I hit a rock going home, about 5 inches high, that unfortunately split my oil pan. After finding out my insurance would cover the cost of repairs, I called around for availabilities and this business said they could take my car in the next day. I got my car towed there and handed over my key, and waited. It took 3 months after insurance sent them the $ for the repairs to finally get my car back.....for an oil pan replacement. Actually crazy.
The owner/manager would either constantly go silent and make a bunch of false promises of when I would get my car back. Constant ghosting though. It's beyond unprofessional. If you're going to be a business that relies on communicating over text, stay on top of your stuff. Stop being so cowardice and actually answer people even if you don't have good news.
Well, after I received my car, lo and behold, it has a terrible clicking noise coming from the engine bay. I texted multiple times about the issue before I get a text back a week later from the manager saying they would take it back in to check it out. Sorry, at this point, I can't wait 3 more months for the car to just be sitting there in the parking lot. I also paid for them to look at my AC as it wasn't working great. I paid for a part they suggested to be replaced, which didn't fix the issue. AC still just as bad.
I just wouldn't ever want to deal with this place ever again. It sucks because they're very close by, local business, but tale as old as time. Shady car repair shop

UPDATE! $2000 STILL OWED and company has IGNORED claim costing me more money to collect on what has already been established.
I support local businesses, but NOT this one. My collision occurred 11/6/19. CollisionTex took on repairs the following week. CollisionTex held my car for more than 3 months, until 01/27/20. Parts & labor were approx. $5400; there were no extreme, unusual, or special damages; nor where there any supplemental invoices or special parts that delayed progress.
But there were LIES, repeated and MANY (to which CollisionTex owner/operator admits) that left my car sitting untouched for months, forcing me to incur thousands in rental car fees. To date, CollisionTex owes (and acknowledges owing) me approximately $2,100 of more than $3k in rental fees.
I took a lower fee rental than I was due to accommodate CollisionTex, and both my insurance and the rental company were lenient, reducing some charges in good faith based upon misrepresentations of CollisionTex. In exchange for this consideration, CollisionTex continued to engage in fraudulent conduct.
I am an attorney. It was only upon my disclosure of this fact and the threat of litigation that my car was attended to and returned to me. Despite my profession, I am not personally a litigious person. (Hence the MANY breaks I allowed). However, I hope this post saves others from the blatant abuse of trust I experienced.
SUPPORT LOCAL BUSINESSES - SHUT OUT FRAUDSTERS.
P.S. Litigation remains pending on the rental fee reimbursement. CollisionTex has promised payment, yet again failed to follow through. I will update my review regarding the outcome of that matter.

This guy had my car for 8 months lying about parts he NEVER ordered I finally got fed up with his lies and towed my car incompleted and what he did paint was done in his dusty shop and not in a paint booth and worst of all he sprayed an unprimered
Bumper knowing the paint would spay off at the car wash. Darren is a criminal intentionally screws everyone walking through his door as I fount out protesting his shop OTHER PEOPLE he has done the same thing started showing up in front of his shop. I'm definitely not alone here. If you observe Darren's reviews they appear to be made by him. The verbiage is all the same (Darren and his Team) And the man never mis-spells his name
Darrin and Darren are two different
spellings . Save yourself a serious headache and go somewhere else. I Have to get my car completely repainted after that crook kept my car for 8 months leaving it in the 105 degree weather all summer and in the rain with a leaking top after I repeatedly begged him to cover and finally did after the damage had already been done. I'll be suing him for paint and 8 months insurance damage to my interior the tow truck the battery he wouldn't keep on a charge. Now I have to flush the bad gas out of my car.
