Been going to this location for awhile but I will no longer be going when the older guy with glasses and a mustache is working. I walked it and grabbed a bottle of fireball and this guy proceeds to take my id and tell me they will no longer be accepting id’s that aren’t sideways. I politely told him I can’t help that’s how they mailed it to me and sadly with the dmv being appt only it would take me months to fix it. He then RAISED his voice at me and told me to “let him finish speaking” to which I asked why he was being so rude and aggressive and he told me I was the rude one?? Like dude give me my bottle and shut up. He even told me I could go to another liquor store. Almost walked out and left him standing there with the bottle in his hand but was too lazy to go somewhere else. I’ve also heard of multiple other customers having problems with this guy and he has multiple bad reviews. FIRE HIM. Mateo on the other hand is great and I will ONLY be going on days he is working. Hire someone who isn’t an asshole, thanks.

Almost every item is overpriced. Want a nice Blantons gold ? That'll be $600 plus your arm & leg. If you did happen to bring your brain with you, you may be able to trade that along with $700 for a bottle of Thomas H Handy.
ANOTHER SHADY LIQUOR STORE TRYING TO MAKE A QUICK BUCK OVER CREATING A LASTING RELATIONSHIP WITH CUSTOMERS.

Poor costumer service my gf went in a few minutes ago and the older guy that was checking people out didn’t wanna sell to her because her Id “looked fake” this has never been the issue in other liquor stores/ gas stations or even at this location ever, & for him not to even let her show him where her birthday was located because it’s a Mexico ID seemed very racist to her and he treated her very disgusting.We won’t be coming here at all anymore

Hands down the best liquor store in hays county, the service is excellent and the selection of products far surpasses that of any other liquor stores I have been too.

My favorite little liquor store by far! Austin and his crew provide exceptional customer service and are very knowledgeable about all things spirit's!! I have spent many of paychecks here on their fabulous selection of bourbons, whiskeys and scotches! I will keep coming back as long as their doors are open and I think you should too!!!

The staff are always so friendly and helpful. I live close to Twin Liquor but prefer the service I receive at Castle. They also have a great rewards program. Check them out. You won't regret it.
