Customer service could be much better. I have been there twice. 1st time to register my husband forwarding address with postal service and 2nd time to have an item mail out and both times the clerk that is currently there has been rude. The 1st time he had gotten upset because he had just started and he had never done an update on forwarding address, so that's what he said to my husband and me. The 2nd time I went to have a packaged mailed out and when I asked him for a pen to write down the mailing address he just pointed to it. He didn't even say a word. Then, when you have to double check the mailing address on the pin pad equipment where you put your card to pay at, before I even checked the mailing address on it, he said it's the same one you wrote down! Excuse me who wouldn't want to double check that the address was put by him correctly!!! He could use a little more customer service training. Also he needs to smile more, and greet and attend us the customers properly with a better friendly attitude!! I don't like the way he is!!!

The most rudest post master there. All the ladies are so nice and I have been going there with my job for 30 years and never met someone so rude.

The silver ederly woman had nothing but snide wisecracks for 10 minutes as a paying cutomer. Her baby colleague just as bad.

The rural carrier will not bring certified letters to my door. I am receiving form 3575 to pick up at the post office. I have an asphalt driveway and there is always someone home, as my wife cares for her invalid eighty six year old father. We have had three spate occasions in the last month in which the carrier left a notice instead of delivering the certified letter. When I queried the office, the clerk said that the truck was late, and that was standard Postal policy. I was a manager of Delivery and Collections, a supervisor in mail processing, a mail handler, a letter carrier, and a postmaster with the USPS spanning a period of twenty seven years, and have an associates degree in Postal Technology. I am unfamiliar with that standard Postal policy, and doubt that it only occurs when I receive a certified letter or an parcel too large to fit in my oversized mail receptacle. Apparently we have changed personnel at the Streetman Post Office, because I have been living here since 1993, and this is my first occasion to complain. Please have the grace to investigate this for me and seek a resolution. I am scheduled for a major surgery August 4,2015, and my wife will be dealing with two invalids. The legal papers are financial in nature and very important. Thee return receipts are being left on the letters when they are redelivered, which unnerves me in regards to the security of the mail transactions that are taking place. I am wondering why there has been no inquiries from my insurance company.
