TERRIBLE TERRIBLE COMPANY
DO NOT EVEN GET INVOLVED WITH THEM
They have TERRIBLE SERVICE with many interruptions. Took me 4hrs with customer service to cancel.
I told them I want to cancel immediately, however checking the cancel date, they let my service run an entire month JUST TO BILL ME AGAIN.
They will give you the run around at EVERY opportunity. Issues are NEVER their problem, they online customer service sent me to the physical store who turned me right back around to phone call customer service.
Massive interruptions in service FORCED ME to pay for an internet hotspot on my cell
phone. JUST SO I COULD KEEP WORKING
They keep calling me non stop asking to sign back up. I told them stop wasting my time. But they keep calling.
During cancellation they had me on hold for 20 to 30 minutes at a time while they “confirmed things”. Just tactics to get you to give up on canceling. DIDNT WORK ON ME.
They recognized I had issue with service and actually offered a billing credit, I told them NO I needed a refund since I was dropping them completely. They said no to any refunds.
Just awful people and company, TACHUS has been such a change for the better. I should have just listened at the beginning and NOT SIGNED UP WITH OPTIMUM.

This review is for John Galvan, he was my technician that came out to get my internet connection working. John was very professional, he called first and introduced himself before arriving to my apartment, he was on time and he made sure that everything was was working properly before he left, he even hooked up the tv for me and went through the settings without me having a remote, that was very kind and I am so thankful he was the person who came over today, what a blessing. Thank you John and I send you so much love and light!!

Not good. Internet sucks, then they our bill went up $25. Hopefully we can switch somewhere else.

If you like paying for outages be my guest. I live in The Reserve in kingwood.. This internet provider single Handedly also gave them less stars for having optimum as a primary internet provider. 2 - 3 day outages “minimum” per month is crazy.

Worst internet company, service is constantly down for “maintenance” almost all week during the day. They respond to complaints with an email to contact. Workers in the store are very friendly and helpful which is one plus. But internet service is trash.

Internet/cable outages all the time. Scheduled service tech 5:00 pm to 8:00 pm...received text running late, new time 8:40 to 9:40 pm..never showed, no text updates. Services still not working.

If i could give them negative stars i would. Horrible service! I havent had service service since the hurricane in July. I returned all my equipment on July 31. Because they couldnt get anyone out here to fix anything! I paid for july! I paid for august! And now they are billimg me for service i didnt have to start with. DONT DO IT! Xf

Intermittent service. Outages almost everyday for months. Then you call to get a credit and after you fight your way through their voice automated system and get to a person they tell you they can't issue a credit until outage is resolved. Well I tell you the outage is never resolved with them. If you have another choice go with it.

Huffman 77336 This is the worst internet service I’ve ever had. Internet goes on and off throughout the day been doing this literally for 5 years now. Calling them is pointless, I called today and made an appointment with them to be at home at 5 pm 10/10/2024 to look at my modem with them to help troubleshoot but waited and waited they never called back. I can’t even get anyone to come out and look at it. They can change their company name a dozen times but it’s still a worthless company apparently with old faulty analog equipment. I’m beyond frustrated with Optimum. We live in Huffman which apparently isn’t near any cell towers. We tried Verizon and T mobile same thing. We switched to Optimum hoping it might be better but same thing barely 1 bar so we depend on the internet for our phone service but with Optimum and the constant internet connection service going on and off we have to drive down the street to reach a cell tower. When the electricity was off after hurricane we had no cell service at all because of no electricity for the internet.
