My overall experience at Sal’s Auto Repair was positive. The staff was friendly, their mechanics seemed knowledgeable, and their prices were fair.My only complaint is the speed of their service. They may be understaffed, which would explain the wait time. If you’re in a hurry or need a repair done quickly, this may not be the place for you.Service: General repairs & maintenance

We had a great experience with Sal's auto repair. After another shop quoted us a very high price for body work, Sal gave us a great deal. My concerns were quality and time due to the low price, but Sal and his team exceed my expectations with the repair.I have returned since for many jobs on the car, including a wrap job, backup camera installation, and oil leak, always with similar results. Sal always takes time to meet with me to ensure my needs are met. Sal is now my goto guy for car work.Services: Auto engine diagnostic

Note to Owner: No, I do not want this resolved. I want to remain anonymous and to give a cautionary tale to others.This was a few years ago. I visited Sal's once. At the time, I was not mechanically inclined in the slightest and I was involved in an auto accident. Upon recommendation from a family member, I took my vehicle here. I communicated what I wanted done to my vehicle directly to the service writer (Josh was his name if I recall correctly) and Sal himself. Sal and I even went out to my vehicle pointed and chatted about what we just talked about inside. I left feeling confident that my vehicle in good hands. The general job was body work and some light electrical.They called me back, vehicle ready. I picked it up and noticed immediately the electrical job I asked them to do wasn't done. No worries, maybe I didn't convey what I wanted done clearly. I went about the next few years with a slight bitter taste in my mouth about the whole experience.In this time, I went from someone who was not mechanically inclined in the slightest to basing my career off of it. And we arrive at today, just a few hours ago. I went to work on my vehicle, the same one from before. And upon removing some of the bodywork that Sal's team had worked, on noticed some of the sloppiest work I've seen. Snowmanned/elongated drill holes, smiley rivets and wrong hardware stacks to name a few.As previously mentioned, I dont want to be overly specific. And while I hope things have changed over the many years, I really doubt it has. I urge everyone to have the work they had done here, especially body work, looked over by an actual competent mechanic. This was my experience, and obviously others had a great experience.Services: Auto body & trim repair

Never got car right and wrong replacement part . I used to love and trust Sal's with cars not so much anymore.****update Tim which I believe is the service manager has reached out to me and he wants to fix this mishap and get car fixed right so I'm going to give them chance to do so.. Will update soon. Tim and rest of staff have been amazing in resolving issues and are in process of finishing repairs. Tim has went over and beyond to make sure issue gets resolved. I appreciate it greatly for you making things right. Update got car back yesterday and they went over and beyond to make it right thanks Tim and Sal

Press off and on carrier bearing. Took drive shaft to them with bearing. Found out broke down on side of road charged 125 for a 50 dollar job. Also took hour on 15 minute job. Do not recommend
