Great teachers and staff. Kids were all well loved, cared for, and had good instruction for the past 4 years.

UPDATE: I got a chance to speak with the franchise owner and figured out there was a break down in communication from her staff it was a very productive conversation and I feel more at ease speaking with the owner it doesn't resolve the issues I had when my child was there but I am going to give them a second chance over the summer if the problems are resolved. Not willing to recommend to my worse enemy! They say that they care about your child but in reality they don't care about anything but the money. I had multiple face to face sit downs because of all the issues with this school they didn't request the sit downs I did because of how horrible the experience was for my child. It looks like a majority of reviews are from staff or previous staff so don't get fooled like I did!

Primrose at Oakhurst has been wonderful to my daughter. Facilities are clean and updated. Ms. Patterson and Ms. Ivie are remarkable teachers that my child loves. Food menu is yummy and well balanced, overall I feel like my daughter is at home when she is here. Even when taking a brief break and unenrolling when it was time to come back we were welcomed back with big arms open ready for more learning. I can’t wait for rest of our ride here until kindergarten graduation this is the best place.

I could go off about how terrible this place is. But I won’t bore you with the details. Just know that they focus more on profits than the kids. Took my daughter MONTHS to stop having nightmares about how her teachers didn’t help her when she got ganged up on by two boys and thankfully her new kindergarten teacher is helping her to trust teachers again. We ended up pulling her out early because we were paying a lot of money just for her to come home every day and cry. And towards the end the director and teacher had to drag her into class, crying, clutching to me. That was my final sign that things weren’t right.

My son and my nephew have been going to this daycare for months and we parents are very pleased with the staff dedication to take care of our kiddos. Thank you for everything you guys do. If you are looking for a daycare for your little one. This place is the perfect daycare for you. The building is super clean.

Being employed here and having a child who attends school has been such a great experience. It is very reassuring to see the kindness from all staff members. We were previously at a different child care facility where my daughter would cry every day being dropped off, now she’s sad on the weekends when she can’t see her teachers and friends. Not to mention, the education she’s receiving, you can tell by having a simple conversation with her that she truly enjoys learning. I’m so grateful we found our primrose family!

My three girls (ages 5yr - 1yr) have been at Primrose Oakhurst since around the time they opened the facility. I can't say enough about how top notch this organization is and what it has meant for my kids and for me as a parent. I was very nervous about sending my kids to daycare but I quickly realized that the staff, teachers and curriculum at Primrose provided the best possible care and education. My girls come home everyday telling me about all of the positive encounters they've had and everything they've learned. I constantly have family and friends telling me how smart my kids are and it's all credit to Primrose! Highly recommend!!

My daughter is going to this school already more than 3.5 years. And I can confidently say that it is one of the best Daycare. Teachers and staff members are very responsive and friendly. School program including education and activities are well organized. A lot of fun holidays for kids! I would definitely recommend this school.

Primrose has an amazing program that is complete with dedicated and caring staff. We have been with them since 2014 when my daughter was just 6 weeks old. From the moment I walked into the doors to today, they have always been professional, caring and supportive. It takes a special, loving person to take care and teach children... ESPECIALLY during these times of COVID. I am amazed at the dedication and attention the children receive. My kids have learned so much and I love seeing the growth and progress they both have made over the years. Primrose has set my children up to be successful in their education by laying a strong foundation and instilling the love of learning into their hearts at such an early stage. If you are looking for a childcare facility I strongly urge you to join the primrose family. It is a safe, CLEAN and loving school. You won’t regret it!

I have been with Primrose for over 9 years. I started out at the Kingwood location and transferred to the Oakhurst location as soon as they opened up. Though we have had a few bumps along the way my husband and I love Primrose. My daughter attended from 5mths old until very recently when she turned 9 and could come home after school. My 4 year old son still attends Primrose and he can't wait to go to school everyday. Both of my children love the teachers they have had and before COVID we knew all of their teachers and felt they always did their best and attended to and taught our kids wonderfully. I am not saying it is a perfect place or perfect staff - as humans we all make mistakes. My 2 kids and myself still have a fondness for their previous teachers. We are so glad that we have had Primrose as part of our lives. My oldest was well prepared for the DUAL language class at her Elementary due to the Spanish curriculum that was taught to her at the Kingwood location. When I have had concerns and discussed them they have always tried to address that concern immediately and when they couldn't they made allowances so that we could temporarily do what we needed to to make the best education for our children. The school (before COVID) always hosted a Spring Fling of fun & games for the family & kids - this was a major highlight for my kids as they couldn't wait to attend.I have never had a problem with late tuition fees but I know that the fee details are clearly stated in the agreement. I can say that I have gotten stuck in traffic and been late (very rare) and the staff was very understanding and made it fun for my kids so that they would not be scare or upset about being the last kids there.I encourage you to go on a tour or talk with the front staff. I have very little to say about the Kingwood & Oakhurst locations that is NOT positive. If you ever need a 1st person review ask them to give you my contact info. :-)

They’re like our second family! My daughter has been attending this daycare since she was 11 weeks old. From day one, the teachers and staff have loved and cared for my daughter like she was their own. In addition, she has received an exceptional education. I receive compliments on her vocabulary and manners constantly, especially when I tell them she is only 3 1/2 years old. A few months ago, we moved and decided to try a daycare closer to our new house. My daughter was there for two months and she was miserable. She started having a lot more behavioral issues, too. It was so upsetting. It broke my heart. We decided to move her back to Primrose of Kingwood at Oakhurst, even though it’s 10+ miles from our new home. We were welcomed back with so much joy. All the teachers gave her hugs and smiles during her first week. I must have heard, “we’re so glad you’re back” a million times. They even made my daughter a ‘welcome back’ sign for her first day. Within a week, my daughter was back to her happy, bright, sweet self! And she is growing and learning so much - I’m blown away when I talk to her. It has been a night and day difference in her attitude and communication. We will be staying at this school until she goes into elementary school. We will be welcoming a new baby into our family this Fall. I’m so thankful to know that my second daughter will have the same amazing experience and education at this school, too. We love you, Primrose of Kingwood at Oakhurst!

We have been going to Primrose for 2 years. My daughter started at 12 weeks old. The teachers are always great. Smiling face, so attentive, and keeps you updated daily. It was a hard transition due to COVID. We could no longer go inside the school to drop off and pick up due to safety protocols. ( I am thankful they are being safe) But still, the transition was hard in not being able interact face to face with the teachers everyday. This was especially hard when my new 8 week old baby began going there. Thankfully in his infant classroom was a the same teacher my daughter had when she was an infant. I knew how great she was with my daughter, so I knew my little boy was in good hands. As your kiddo gets older they transition to different classes. It is great to see that the teachers not only remember my daughter but they remember me. It is a great feeling to know you mean something to them. Recently, we got to have a telephone conference with the kids teachers. It was great to get an update from them on how they are doing, different things they are working on and an opportunity to go over any concerns if any existed. The front office staff is amazing. The director is so sweet. She always is there for a morning greet or a evening goodbye. She is all about the kids and it shows. She is great at communicating things with the parent. From calling for any concerns, and even coming in early to talk with me if needed. The ast director is so kind. My little one loves racing me to the door to see her. As far as academic wise. My little girls learns so much every day. I enjoy her coming home and telling me about what she learned and different activities they did. My little boy does great there. He is hitting so many milestones early, that I can definitely attribute it to Primrose. One day we will have to leave Primrose at Oakhurst, either a move or when the kids go off to school, and I know we all will be really sad to leave.

Primrose is an absolute joke and I am so disappointed with them for calling themself a school because they are far from a school and their academic is no where near worth it. The staff/so call teachers get changed out and quit on them like every other month and you would see new faces all the time. I love how they sold us in the beginning of enrolling my son about how Primrose believe in the privacy of their teachers and students interaction during classroom hours and they don't believe in cameras in classroom. Well now I know why there's no camera in classrooms, so all the parents and families can't see what a horrible job they do on academic and caring for the kiddos. Please DO NOT and I repeat DO NOT enroll your child at Primrose because they will get mistreated and don't let them make u think they are actually teaching your child because they are not. We are first time parents and had to learn the hard way and I totally regret having my son at this so call school and it has been a horrible experience at Primrose and we are super disappointed at everyone that work for Primrose. There's way too many people who shouldn't be working with children at Primrose with their academic and child care wise. It truly takes a special person to love, care, teach and sincerely love being with children and helping them grow. If you're a parent doing your research and reading my comment right now let it be a sign and pay attention to the low star rating they have because them reviews don't lie and other parents are disappointed as well. Primrose can't be trusted and there's plenty of other schools around the area that will provide cameras with live feed for you to see your baby throughout the day and will have better communication. Don't let the nice picture perfect looking school fool you because they don't care about children's academic or their well-being. Very bad communication from the staff starting with the director of the school and its literally just a way overpriced day care and that is it. If you love your baby and care about their early education this isn't the place for you and your family.

My son has attended this school for awhile now and I have to say I am very happy with them. The EP2 teachers are so great, my son is cared for and his vocabulary has greatly expanded in his time at the school. The front office staff is so helpful and polite, they are very knowledgeable and are always up to date on State regulations. The school is always clean and so is my son when I pick him up, and this is impressive because I get pictures of him using paints and markers daily. Overall, I am very impressed with our experience and will contine to trust them with my most precious person.
