I've worked here for about a year now and I love being with my coworkers and playing and teaching these silly kids. Seeing them grow up and learning so much makes me emotional Summer is so much fun for the school age kids too, they come back and they are constantly raving about their trips and activities!

Please do not bring your children here it’s not safe!!! My daughter was literally drinking out of the mud puddle and her teacher Ms. Amanda was standing there watching her laughing. My daughter is only two years old. One day I walked in, and a kid was alone in an empty room stuck in between toys I told the teacher and she wasn’t aware the child was missing from her class. I have so many horrific stories!! I spoke to Ms. Earlysha several of times all she would do is smack her lips and say it was the children fault for not listening. Not sure how she’s a supervisor. She’s the most unprofessional person. I honestly feel sorry for all these kids cause they’re in so much danger under her supervision.. My kids are being seen by a doctor due to trauma from this place. STAY AWAY from this day care.

I pulled my 15 month old out after one day. I came to pick him up after an 8 hour day and the worker had him sitting on the floor screaming, crying. And by her own admission, she he had been crying since she put him down 15 minutes prior to my walking in the room. I’ve only seen my baby like this a handful of times and this was the 1st time he had cried that entire day (I watched the camera all day until I was driving to get him).
This comes after them leaving my child’s face filthy after lunch and me having to request that they rock him to sleep, as they were prepared to let him remain up and overstimulated. These were the yellow flags throughout the day.
I was so upset!

Teacher turnover is unbelievable here. Only reason my child went here was because of their cameras and being able to see my child was a plus for me. The infant room was great. Once my son turned 2 is when things went downhill. I started seeing teachers being rough with children and reported it to Rowan, multiple times. I also emailed the district manager, Annette to report a teacher but nothing ever came from it. The last straw for me was when my child, who was 2 at the time was kicked in the face by another child and the only teacher in the room was in the restroom with another child. They’re constantly over the teacher to child ratio. My child would cry every day at drop off. We’ve been at a new daycare for almost 3 months now and my child doesn’t cry at drop off and is happy to go to school.

Would not recommend! I don't even know where to begin with this establishment. Between always being slapped at the door with smells of poo and pee and there being so much through traffic, all of my trust and faith in child care has gone out the window with this place. They overwhelm the teachers with, "as many kids as they can fit," which I'm quoting the director Rowan Ljungdahl. With our first encounter I should've paid more attention to the truth she was telling me. She said and I quote, "if I can fit as many kids to a room I will, I will find or make space for everyone." Little did I know she would do just that. I've gone to pick up my kids on several occasions and been met with teachers frazzled saying that would be their last day. My daughter would have 3-4 teachers in one day alone. On one occasion when I went to pick up my daughter the teacher had no idea where she was on the playground outside and come to find out later that day during bath time that moment of the teacher not paying attention was the perfect debilitating recipe for some little boy to touch my daughter so inappropriately that, from my own daughter's little mouth she had to fight the little boy off. The teacher was no where to be found to help my little girl. Shocked by this truth and frozen from my own childhood trauma I did not know how to reach out to the director with this terrifying news my baby girl confided to me. I let a few days pass while I gathered myself and my response to the director and in the mean time I have kept my daughter by my side to date. I reached out to the director Rowan Ljungdahl to inform her of what my daughter has told me. At first her response seemed sincere until she said and this is with her own words, "I mean it's truly unfortunate and I am sorry, please don't take what I'm about to say the wrong way but the boy your daughter is saying this happened with I wouldn't expect something like that from him it's not his nature and he's only here a few days out of the week. Now I have other kids here I could say that about but I'm not sure if this kid would." Not only did she reflect and minimize what happened to my daughter she also had the nerve to say that there's other kids within the facility capable of such disgusting behavior. She said she would speak to the child's parents and communicate with me further about the matter but that was now 2 1/2-3 weeks ago and I have to this day yet to get any other information on the situation. I'm very outdone with the service and the standards of the facility.

I personally love La Petite of Kingwood. The staff always greets my daughter by her name and a huge smile. They are very diligent when it comes to the safety of the children. Jakeitha, Renisha and Rowan are amazing at communicating whether it be about my child’s needs, school events, pandemic information.

Not only has this place lost my trust but also my business. The director Joanne did NOT handle my son's on-site injury in a timely manner or in anyway any other human being would have! I was not notified until nine hours later and at the time she claimed it did not happen there. My child suffered a facial hematoma and they were not aware of it happening because they did not have the proper ratio. She did not have an explanation for me as to why there was no incident report at this time. After taking him to his pediatrician CPS became involved because of the unexplainable injury. I was put through an entire investigation because of this daycare. Then after an investigation began they produced video footage of my child's accident and made up an accident report and back dated it! You people think you can just lie your way out of it and still be trusted with children! Not mine! You need to replace your untrustworthy management team!

Stay away from here. They are horrible my both kids had bad experience here. Came few times with bruises and my oldest cried saying please don't take us there they are mean and teacher says my teeth look like vampire. I was shocked my heart was broken. Went to talk to director her reply was" oh they are kids they make up things". wow you saying my 3 year old can make up something like that. No apologies no nothing but I took it to next level. Oh to not forget they have so called teachers without license. Poor management cruel teachers.

As a former educator, by far the best school for your children!! Staff are amazingly friendly and caring to the children! The classes have the best classroom managment I've seen in a long time. Not to mention I watched group time, children were learning, engaged, and having fun!!10 out of 10 in my books!! Highly recommend

This year was my daughters first year at a day care. I moved further from family and knew it would be difficult for my daughter to adjust. I thought she would be fighting me to not take her. The first couple of days I had to stay for a little, because she felt out of place with so many kids. It didn't take long to adjust she started to make friends and no longer wanted me to stay around. They have so many activities for the children and help with homework which is a plus. I don't have any complaints so far. So that is a plus.

I highly recommend this child care center! The staff and teachers are very warm and loving people who truly care about each individual child, they even know the children (and parents) by name! My two daughters have really enjoyed their time here. They never leave without a big smile on their faces and are filled with joy, which really tells me how happy they are to attend here. This center really cares about what and how they teach the children when it comes to education, as well as, the emotional, social, and developmental skills needed as they grow. Ms. Joanne and her staff are wonderful and they truly go above and beyond any other group of daycare staff I have experienced with.
