Stopped by here as it looks like a cool place when driving by. I arrived with a party of 15 at 2:40pm. The place was pretty dead when we arrived. We were immediately seated. We didn’t get our food until after 4:30pm and we weren’t told upon arrival that the wait was an hour. This is what we were told when inquiring about our food whereabouts. There was a large chunk of time that not a single table had food while we waited. Staff apologized but some nachos or something to snack on so we didn’t die of starvation would have been a nice touch. I understand mistakes/short staffing happens but it was a pretty miserable situation. We were with several kids who luckily held out well. Check out was fast and easy and our nice waiter had split up all our tabs already. We were finally released from our prison at 5pm. Don’t go here if you are hungry. Order when you aren’t hungry and by the time you receive your food you will be hungry. Location and weather were lovely!

Went Sunday evening and place was empty. Waited an hour for nachos and pizza before we decided to leave. Didn't want to wait any longer.

There prices are completely misleading! Don’t believe any of the prices you see in the beer cooler especially for any of the single cans. The price said $2.69 for an Topo Chico and at the register it came out to $3.49. I then went to buy a single Whiteclaw for $2.49 and it came out to $3.29. I then went to buy a Truly 12 pack for $16;49 and it came out to $20.49 before taxes. The lady behind the counter said they have been asking the owner to make the price changes for over a year but the owner said that brings the people in and that they will still buy it anyways. That is a terrible way to run a business. Please double check the price before you check out

Way over priced for food that is just ok & portions that are small. Water tasted funny too. Fine place to stop n have a beer with a view but that’s about it.

When we can, we go to the Sunday morning Worship with the Reeds! There's always been something about hearing God's word outdoors, especially over the water. Music is awesome, pastor Alan Ray's message even better! Casual, but "Standing on Holy Ground" comes to mind. God's blessings

Way overpriced no ethanol at the pump. I get surcharging for a slip fill up but even to drive in and pump IS $7.59 TODAY. Literally $3.59 less @ QT in Austin. Complete rip-off. I would fill up here all the time if it was remotely reasonable. Not surprising I rarely see people filling up their rigs here

CAN YOU PLEASE KEEP THE BRISKET QUESADILLA ON THE MENU SO WE CAN CHOOSE BETWEEN BRISKET OR CHICKEN BC THEY ARE BOTH VERY GOOD AND ITS NICE TO HAVE TWO CHOICES. SERVICE IS GREAT, RESTROOMS ARE CLEAN AND THE CONVENIENCE STORE IS ALWAYS VERY CLEAN AS WELL, THANK YOU VERY MUCH!!I would also request the music at the SPOT be turned down during slower weekday times as I have to go to Boat Towne to be able to enjoy a more quiet and relaxing atmosphere. TYVM!!

Literally stood at the window to order for almost 15 minutes while two people walked past the windowAnd pretended they didn’t see us. We finally just gave up and left. Most people sit up top, so if you’re wanting to sit below, I wouldn’t expect service. I actually watch about three different couples give up and walk away too. Beautiful spot though.

Wakepoint is so much fun. The food, the drinks, and the views are all great. Friendly staff. Glad to have a place like thid in Kingsland!
