This is a large Ace Store, with a spacious new sporting goods area as large as some supermarkets. The lumber yard is well stocked. I dealt with paint, plumbing, and electrical floor managers, and found them friendly, and knowledgeable, willing to assist.

The prices at Ace Hardware in Kingsland are very competitive and comparable to other big name stores. And their lumber yard has a good selection of wood, siding, concrete, and more. Barbara, Bob, and Mark provide the best service in the Hill Country. Ace is the place.

Pricey, but they have friendly, very helpful people. Perfect for a small town hardware store when you need something quick. That is, if they have what you need in stock. Often times, a lot of items are sold out.
