I ordered sandwiches, frituras, and a plate of rice, beans, ribs and tostones. Food was good but service was so bad I will not return nor recommend for friends. All I asked was for a second plate (since my wife wanted a plate for her sandwich and frying instead of using the paper bag. The lady at the cash register sent me to the other side (since she couldn't walk the 7 steps to where the foam to go bikes are- those are the plates). The lady on that side asked me to eat while she took something to the back, I waited for a few minutes and couldn't believe she couldn't take a moment to hand me a foam box that I could almost reach myself Another. lady came out and when I asked her for it she said it was only for food orders… I showed her my bag full of food and mentioned all the items I had and I needed another plate, I told her to charge me for it… she called out to the first lady at the register who I first talked to (it's only about 5 feet away) and she said something like “I guess gave him one of the foam boxes, the lady went to the side and said “these smaller ones ” (they are like the size you would put a slice of cake in). I couldn't believe how ridiculous this was getting… the lady said “no the regular ones”. And after what felt like 5 minutes I got the 2nd plate I needed for my wife and I to enjoy our meal. It’s unfortunate that they would have such a scarcity mind set…

All I ordered was a second plate (since my wife wanted a plate for her sandwich and fry up instead of using the paper bag). The lady at the register sent me to the other side (because I couldn't walk the 7 steps to where the foam trays were, which are the plates).
The lady on that side asked me to wait while she took something to the back. I waited a few minutes and couldn't believe he didn't take a moment to give me a foam tray that I could almost reach myself. Another lady came out and when I asked her for one, she said they were only for food orders. I showed him my bag full of food and mentioned all the items I had and that I needed another plate. I even told him to charge me for it. She called the first lady at the register (who was only about 5 feet away), and she said something like, “I guess give her one of the foam trays.” The other lady went to the side and said: “Are you smaller?” (the size you would put a slice of cake on). I couldn't believe how ridiculous this was all becoming. The lady said: “No, the regular ones.” And after what felt like 5 minutes, I finally got the second plate I needed so my wife and I could enjoy our meal.
It's unfortunate that they have such a scarcity mentality.

Good food but very rude. The people there don’t want to work there. I’d rather go to other Caribbean eateries where the price is a little higher but they appreciate customers who want to spend money and enjoy a meal.

Horrible food. Place is full of small roaches, floor is always disgusting. Have eat here twice and both times ended up trowing up. Also the pizza empanadillas had mold

This place is a gem to all Caribbeans! From the restaurant, to the grocery store… tears of joy and pure euphoria. I find everything I used to request from Florida there including authentic Haitian products IYKYK!🇭🇹

The food is really damn good !!! Only a true island person and their decendants from New York knows what the food from the island of Puerto Rico 🇵🇷 really tastes like and when the food is good you know that line is going to wrap around the block ! So yes expect to wait in line. But they move pretty fast because they know the soldiers have to get back to work asap and all the other individuals that are waiting in line have somewhere to go too ! I have never stopped coming here. This is my first goto place for Puerto Rican food ! Please try the arroz con gandules with pernil, the alcapuraría and the sandwiches cubano con todo ! ( make sure you ask what the ingredients are if your allergic to any foods !!!! ) 😋💯🇵🇷❤️🫶🏽

Absolutely horrible food. The only reason this place has such a good rating is because it's so close to base and attracts people who have no idea what they are eating or what it's supposed to actually taste like. All people see is the price of the plate rather than the quality of the food. This place is disgusting and definitely does not taste like food from the island. What a shame. This is a bad representation of food from PR

You can buy items from other countries but the place is small for the number of people and you can't even move with the shopping cart because of the narrow aisles but you buy good ones

I visited Killeen for the first time and my cousin recommended this place to me.
Small but it was very busy and I said yes there is this line it is because they have to cook well. I liked the food.
