$30 a month for a gym that has been closed for the past two months. I joined this gym because it was close to where I lived. Crunch Fitness is the next closest big gym, so it looks like I will be switching over soon if nothing happens at this PF location.11/4 update, PF said to call for more details about the reopening. Surprise, they can't even give a date of when it will be open again. No help what so ever.

That PF on Stan Schleuter has been closed for a long while, months for repairs now & they just built the building & facilities a few years ago. It's supposed to reopen in like 5 months but that's too long. That is not a convenient gym. Lots of PF close locally. I do not recommend PF at all.

This location has been closed for quite a while, just like other members have said. It’s inconvenient to have to drive all the way to the other side of town to use a different location. It’s true, if this was a house that belonged to the owner/operator or the manager- there would be a definitive date of completion….it’s starting to get ridiculous and very frustrating. I’m seriously considering cancelling my membership and finding a gym closer to my home/work. It’s dumb to be paying for a membership that can’t be used- for me going across town is not an option, so what exactly am I supposed to do, just keep giving the gym money for no service?

Paying for something I'm not even using. I don’t utilize veterans because its too far. Looking into someone else like Anytime fitness. Seems to be very reliable at all times. And stop with the auto replies nobody wants to hear them. Would give 0 stars if I could

Just tried to come to the PF to work out and when I got to the door it was closed. Says open on google maps. Maybe I should have read the reviews first.??♂️ looking it up it says not opening until February is that true? If so I need to see about pausing or getting refunds.

This gym has been closed over a month now probably going on 2 and more. There’s no get well time for the gym and yet still being CHARGED for a membership that I can’t use at least do something about it. Mine as well cancel the membership not going to keep paying for a membership I’m not using!! The planet fitness on Veterans is NO WHERE CLOSE to my location. Really sucks because I really like this gym and gave me motivation to get back in there.

The gym itself is okay. Like, it's a planet fitness. But it's been closed for weeks for "unscheduled maintenance" and they have no window for when it reopens. All they've offered is that members can visit a nearby location across town, apparently not understanding the concept of "local neighborhood gym."EDIT: oh, that's a cute reply. How about you guys just let me know when I can go to the gym, instead of giving me a tedious chore?

It’s been a month, if not longer, that this gym has been ‘temporarily’ closed & for some reason, management is not understanding the frustration of their customers in regards to their same repeated response of “it is temporarily closed & you may use the ‘nearby’ facility ACROSS town!” There is NOTHING “NEARBY” about the PF on Veterans!!! The whole point of people signing up for this facility to begin w/ is the convenience of it being near home/neighborhood! The fact that there is no hesitation in charging your monthly fee w/ a repeatedly robotic explanation such as the one you’re giving your customers is highly unprofessional & inconsiderate! Not to mention how insincere the explanation you’re giving is (it’s the same response w/ every review). If you have knowledge of the possibility of not reopening your doors until next year, a month, or ever at all, I get it you’re a business just trying to make your money, but your customers’ money are literally going down the drain trying to stick w/ your facility HOPING you’d open your doors soon! At least give your customers some reliable and realistic explanations or time frames so they get some idea on when they could look forward to using the facility again, and if it’s too long a wait, they can take their money elsewhere. AGAIN, the PF in Veterans is NOT nearby AT ALL!!! Defeats the purpose of WHY your customers signed up w/ your facility in Stan Schleuter to begin w/ because it’s close to home! Now that I’ve provided you w/ a novel this early in the AM, I digress ?

It is ridiculous to still be charged for a gym that has been closed for close fo 2 months. The unexpected issues are related to mold in the walls from what is being told at the other gym. At this point, I would have better luck just waiting on the new gym in HH to open. Please communicate better. Having us drive to the other side of town is ridiculous and about 20 minutes out the way.

I totally understand closures for maintenance, but you guy have been closed for too long without an update on expected reopening. I mean we should get a credit for time loss.I am not a gum rat, so i pay monthly for a convenience and comfort knowing i can swing by whenever for a work out. I got the hint, closed for maintenance, but the could have built a whole new facility next door, or added a pool and sauna, which i doubt.Im sure im not the only one who feels a tad bit jaded with the blanketed closure. Add a teaser, like we are projecting to open fist week of October or January 2024. And no, if i wanted to go to the broken down gym on the other side of town, i would have signed up over there. As an owner or business manager you can do better communicating with your paying customers. Yes, there are thing that happens beyond our control, but at least communicate that, then I / We don’t feel like we are throwing our hard earned cash out the window for something we cant use. Im sure if i check my bank statements, y’all didn’t miss taking a payment? To make a long story short, can you please update your PR campaign. Thanks

This is ridiculous my home gym decides to do an "unexpected maintenance" for over a month! Then proceeds to charges its members the monthly fee and tells them to go to the other gym across town in a bad area. I want my refund!

My home gym has been closed over a month and no matter who I call or what I check I can't find anything saying when it will be open again. The club they want us to go to is literally right off rancier and as a woman that's just not safe at all .I don't particularly feel like being raped and murdered just for trying to go to the gym. We should get refunds for the inconvenience or something.

I was having a good experience at PF until they unexpectedly closed for over a month, and will still be closed it looks like. It would be nice if they went ahead and refunded everyone's fees for the time that they have been closed without us having to contact the manager. The location they want us to use in the meantime has literally had murders happen across the street. I'm not saying that the location itself is sketchy because I have no idea. But the area definitely is. And as a female who goes to the gym at night, I do not feel like putting myself into harm's way in order to go to the gym.

Why is this gym still closed??? When will this unscheduled maintenance be done??? Can someone tell us what made the gym unexpectedly close? Transparency with the customers helps us to be more understanding.
