I went in early this morning, while it was raining.
This site looked clean. The floors were shiny and the floor items appeared well stocked.
I was the only potential customer.
My car windows were left open and my car was flooded with water, resulting in my steering wheel requiring a cover for grip.
I was told hello as I walked in. I observed no other employees.
I said "Good morning" and walked over to the steering wheel covers.
I then walked to the front and asked if she could identify the steering wheel size for my 1996 VW.
She said "No, but they're the same size."
I reiterated it's a VW.
She said they don't have that available to look up in their system.
I replied, "I'll google it."
I walked back outside, in the drizzle, retrieved my phone from my car and came back inside.
I did not have my reading glasses on so I asked for help.
She thought I was asking for her to look it up again.
Long story short, I felt like I was bothering her with her opening work or whatever she was doing.
She did help me read my phone, informed me it is a 16", which she said is truck size.
She walked over and showed me the 3 possible covers.
Good thing I took the initiative to look it up myself or I would have purchased one that didn't fit, resulting in an unnecessary return. I opted not to buy one with O'Reilly.
3 stars because of the cleanliness and the employee assisting me, albeit reluctantly. (Or so it felt to me)
Maybe O'Reilly should give their employees extra time on the clock in the mornings to better prepare for customers that arrive early? Idk
Definitely not the level of service I'm accustomed to at this business.
Granted, I appeared disheveled however, how many people actively working on their autos don't?
This location is right around the corner from me so it is the most convenient. Not sure I want to go back in.
I may just order something online now that the immediate need has passed.

I received what I needed to efficiently fix my problem. My only issue with my experience was having to wait approximately 10 minutes after entering the store before someone asked me if I needed help, which should have been obvious since I was standing at the counter. There were staff members that were discussing something trivial to store business and didn't break away to assist me for the period of time mentioned. Customer service should be visited with this store staff.

Friendliest staff I’ve ever came in contact with. These guys are the type of guys that will answer your question and give you extra information to make you knowledgeable about what project you’re about to start working on there is really good people in this establishment
