Bought a truck from this establishment back in June only to drive off the lot after close and the check engine light comes on 20 minutes after purchase. They tried to play like they didn’t know what was wrong and asked us to scan the code. Once I really got to talk to Jim and Antonio the next couple of days, I got them to tell me this was an issue BEFORE PURCHASE. Took it to 2 different shops of their choice 4 separate times and was without a vehicle for 3+ weeks. At first they (Killeen auto) said it was a sensor problem and then when we found out it was a turbo issue we pretty much got treated like crap by Jim because we werent willing to pay for any of the fixes that they should’ve had taken care of before selling. Jim said he wasn’t going to pay for all of it and we ended up having to pay $500 to help him pay for labor on a truck we just spent $28k + $2k down payment on. Also, Jim told us that it was our fault for not bringing a sensor reader to their dealership and checking if there were any codes on. Fast forward to now, the truck still isn’t fixed and I’m sure that has something to do with the fact that the turbo that was put in was $800– I’ve never heard of a brand new turbo that cheap but they say it was fixed properly and it can’t possibly be the turbo anymore. It’s really sad how people can pretend to be so genuine during a sale and then once they’re done with you, you better not have a problem with the vehicle or sale or else they’ll make you feel like you’re the problem. I had a really good time purchasing this vehicle but the sheer ignorance, disrespect and incompetence is beyond me. I also do believe you’re not supposed to be selling vehicles with check engine lights on/clearing codes…. I was told by Jim that I couldn’t return the vehicle so I’ll make sure I turn all my screenshots into the proper authorities.

We had a specific budget- with a specific end goal- we had 3 dealerships tell us what we needed could not be done- we had one dealership attempt but ultimately could not accomplish getting us into the vehicle- despite approval and an executed contract- Killeen Auto Sales took the time- actively listened to what we needed- considered the situation- found a solution and we closed within 48 hours-. We have the payment we need, the room we need, and we did not have to compromise on safety or quality- hard to find people that will actively listen, find a solution and are kind- highly recommend! Thank you to everyone! Y’all are too kind!

This is a great dealership. No nonsense and reliable. Todd helped us look at a truck we saw listed online. He didn’t try to push us into another higher priced vehicle, but was patient with us as we considered options at other dealerships. He gave an honest appraisal of the vehicle and ensured we had the best looking vehicle when we left. This is a long standing dealership that wants to maintain the high quality reputation they have. they were awesome to work with and I got a nice car and they bought a tire that had to be replaced for me. I would recommend Todd to anyone that needs a car and Jim was awesome as a manager!!! Thank you guys so much!

Yes please don’t go here if you Got verified your employment through the work number cause they will lie and say they can't verfiy cause they don’t want to pay to verify employment it’s said they was able to verify the first company Cause it was a staffing company but the second job is needed to be verified through the work number I still haven’t got my 3000 that I put down they advise me to lie to loan company and say I put 5000 down in only put 3000 down in they was goin deferred the 2000 and I would put that down the next time I get paid and guess what they pick up the car in haven’t got my money back yet I’m advised you don’t get car from here

We bought a car from this dealer last weekend; the salesman we worked with was Todd. He has obviously been dong this for a long time, because he had a real gift for intrinsically matching the right cars with the right customers. We were clear about the max we felt ok with spending, and Todd got us into the exact type of vehicle we wanted for the price point we'd stated when we first walked onto the lot. He was friendly, honest, and genuinely interested in listening to our situation and what we needed.
Everything went smoothly and quickly. The shop was relaxed, professional, and welcoming. We drove away in exactly the vehicle we needed; it was clean and had good tires, good brakes, a strong engine, a fresh oil change, and a full tank of gas. We felt we'd been treated in a very professional way and that the whole experience was also personable and customized to what we needed.
We do not live in Killeen, but we found it was well worth the drive to go there as opposed to Austin, and we'll certainly go back to Killeen Auto Sales each time we need to replace a vehicle now, due to the trust factor. Todd is what we used to call "good people," in the old days, and that's priceless when buying a car!.

Cannot recommend Killeen Auto Sales enough! Antonio was not only extremely professional and personable but also flexible and understanding as we tried to schedule a time to test drive the minivan we wanted. After deciding we wanted the vehicle, Antonio and Jim took great care of us and had us out the door with keys in hand quickly! Such a great team!
