I called to get pricing for a haircut and flat iron and received the pricing with no issue. I then asked when’s the earlier availability and the receptionist told me I could get my hair done today if I “headed up there now”. I drove from home and made it there within 15 minutes of the call just to get there, check in, and the receptionist go to the back and come back to the desk to tell me “oh I just went back and spoke with the stylist and she said she won’t be able to do it”……You would think common sense would’ve told the receptionist to ASK THE STYLIST BEFORE booking the appointment. To avoid having people waste gas and time coming up here FOR SOMETHING NOT GUARANTEED

This place does TERRIBLE dye jobs. I got my hair colored here twice and each time the color was done incorrectly, the first time l got a dye multiple strands of hair were missed and the color practically washed out first shampoo. The second time Denise did NOT do the right color nor follow the instructions I gave her, SEVERAL TIMES. I showed her a reference photo and she went and did the complete opposite. I redirected her she continued to do whatever she wanted to and play in my head. I was excited to finally switch it up and she made me regret it. Now I have to wait to get it fixed. She needs to learn to follow directions and not insist on doing it her way. They gossiped with each other the whole time rather than pay attention to my hair and follow my requests. I am very angry and this is not what I wanted. I will NOT be returning and again, you guys are terrible.

I love Jc Pennys Zina is awesome she has been my color specialist/barber for years and Audrey is awesome and Zulma with braiding as well is awesome. Thank you Jc Pennys ive had wonderful experiences everytime and i literaly have been going there for 20 years

Elaine is fantastic! I just happened in one day to see if anyone could cut my hair and I think Elaine had cancellation. She is a master stylist and my haircut was perfect! I went back recently for a cut and color. I can’t say enough good things about her expertise and how great she did on my hair! I am so thankful to have found her!!Services: Shampoo & conditioning

My mom went in there today 2/13/23 she had an appointment at 2. She was waiting for an hour in the chair. They changed her chair 2 time. One of the stylist said she don't know how to use the clippers so she was going to find someone else who knew how to. She waited and waited and no one ever showed up so she left. No one was in the front. I can't believe they treated my mom this way. We are very disappointed. You failed her and we are never coming back. Again 0 stars

I was visiting from out of town. This location gave me great customer service! Their salon technicians are experienced at what they do. Tell them what you want and ask which technician is best skilled at that service and they will recommend you to the right person and days they work. As well, I watch them collaborate on best techniques while doing color. They work together to ensure you get the best service possible. I did a big chop and went from virgin, dark brown hair to blonde (without the high banana yellow glow). I also checked the JCPenney salon when I got home for a second appointment to go platinum with my hair color. I told them what I had done and where, and they easily recommended a stylist and I have an appointment booked in four weeks has recommended! So exciting! Previously, I use Supercuts, never again. The caliber of service technicians at JC Penny’s isexcellent in comparison.

They overbooked my appointment. Didn’t offer to have another stylist cut my hair, but suggested that I just walk around for 30-45 minutes. A courtesy call when the stylist got behind would’ve been nice so that I didn’t drive clear across town.

Absolutely love getting my brows done here and it's only 15$! I've spent so much getting them waxed at other places and this is a good price for great service. I get a random employee everytime and they always get my brows just right ?

My stylist, Kim, was friendly and professional. She did a great job following the hairstyle that I gave her, but also cut my hair in a way that would compliment my face shape and hair texture. I have thick, wavy hair. My hair was also damaged from a perm. Kim did her magic, and I am very happy with the results. I was skeptical at first due to many negative reviews; however, I'm glad that I gave it a try.

Everytime I go here I keep thinking it's going to get better, but no. I remember getting my hair cut for a basic trim guys and my hair looked uneven and hacked off. Another time I did not like the attitude and she would not talk to me so it was just awkward silences. The hairdresser and she would not give me what I wanted and over charge me for something I could have done at home. I urge anyone and everyone to go somewhere else especially for coloring services that are more professional and knowledgeable. Don't waste your money here!

Their hours online are misleading. We walked in quarter to 7 and they said they stopped taking in clients at 6:30 and they close at 7. Wouldn't even see us even though I told them just needed 2 quick kids cuts. Last time I checked you're not supposed to clean up during business hours and just choose when you stop taking customers. Shame bc I tip very well!UPDATE: finally got in to have my daughter seen. Not only did they push the shampoo and style on us when we repeatedly said we didn't want it, but over an hour for curtain bangs?! Over an hour for a simple cut style. Absolutely ridiculous. Never coming here again. The cut was mediocre. Paid 52 bucks. That's with 7 tip.

I brought my granddaughter in without an appointment to have her hair done after we spent almost 2 hrs at another hairdresser who didn't know what she was doing. These ladies made her smile come back....
