“Been staying at Welcome Motel for almost a week now, and I couldn't be any happier with my stay, the man that works up front is so helpful with anything we need, he has hooked up cable for us, when i had trouble with the tv he came in with another one. He seems to really care about his business ive seen him on numerous occasions working on painting the pavement etc. The room is comfortable showers nice, towels soft definitely recommend and would come back ?”

“The rooms were as clean as could be expected for as old as.they are. No pool showers were. Clean.... Staine on one of the blankets and wifi being by office sucked small place ice maker was filthy but ..... Lol not to bad after a tornado huh sad but true..Rooms: Not to bad for a night are two not spick and Spain but clean the non smoking room now smoking room was a lil nore dirty. Like film from smoke on mirrorsSafety: It seen to be fairly safe for a lady that can hold her own if need to be. ....well liteWalkability: There is a. “Whenever I’m in Killeen and looking to stay at a hotel that won’t break the bank, but still has quality, this is the hotel I choose.The hotel is also around tons of store/fast food options. It’s in a great location. It’s quiet, even with kids and dogs, the noise is never ongoing. I love it. The staff are a little busy at most times, which is very understandable, but they’re very kind and welcoming when you come in contact with them for assistance. My biggest thing with “cheap” or budget-friendly hotels are roaches and bed bugs. I have yet to experience any of those issues since I’ve been here which is another reason why I keep coming back. For the newbies in town, I definitely recommend this hotel. Even if you’re from Killeen and staying with relatives, THIS is a place you can come to, free your mind and relax.”
“Beds were good. No problems with bugs. Air conditioning worked well. Complementary soaps worked well. Bath towels nice. Shower worked well. Laundry on site was useful. Great location. Saw the Eclipse from the parking lot. Great view! Internet could be better. Vending machine prices high. Otherwise it was great! Staff is excellent! Very friendly and always someone present to help if needed.Thank you Tina and Adalia!Rooms: The rooms were good size. Everything we needed plus a kitchen. Great views. Easy highway access. Staff had room nicely cleaned.Safety: Felt safe the entire stay. Good locks. We were on the 3rd floor.”
“I have been to many Motel 6s. This one was one of them.The service was awesome it was by places within walking distance , they up kept our room with fresh towels and a made up bed while I was visiting my dad. Wife wanted coffee and they were making more and told my wife that it was ready. Thank you for a pleasant stay”

“***I thought I posted this review a while back, but I must've forgot. Anyhow, I believe the manager deserves a fair and honest review, albeit a late one.***I'd like to start by saying the freeze in February 2020 was a very stressful time for everyone here in Texas and the fact that this hotel was able to have guests was nothing short of a blessing for me.I booked a last minute stay here because I had been out of power for 4 days and counting.I recognized the manager (Denis) at the front desk when I walked in. (I had to book my mother a stay there about a year ago. Also, a good experience.)He immediately made me aware of the issue with frozen pipes. I had been freezing for 4 days straight, so this was not a deal breaker for me.The room was neat and warm with a large, flat screen tv with working cable. (A lot of people in Killeen also had no cable)There was a small puddle of water by the window where I assume the pipes had leaked. Someone stopped by to look at it, so it was clearly being worked on.I did have to ask for towels but shortly after, the lady brought be warm towels and sheets fresh from the dryer, it seemed.I made my bed, turned on the tv and was the happiest man in earth.The next day, I received a text informing me that my power at home had been restored. With that, I checked out early in hopes of getting a refund, but I understand that is not a guarantee. Either way, I was grateful for the hospitality in such an unexpectedly, stressful situation. It was a well needed place of solace.”

“Clean room, stayed for a week, never saw a single bug of any kind. Hardwood floors and the staff DID return our deposit. Over all it was simple clean motel room, I never once didn’t feel safe staying here. The beds were actually pretty comfortable.”

Very nice !!I'm amazed comfortable bed to the glass showers to bad there's no set up included such as plants if any roof to stay under I would definitely pick this one unfortunately the pool is out side being winter an all.Rooms: Excellent conditions Flat screen TV with internet access and Wi-Fi from small refrigerator to microwave it's a plusNearby activities: Not much but it worth a look for nearby activities ? all you got is your feetWalkability: Across from the Mall.Food & drinks: Bistro is right from the front desk toward the back...You can chose your topic from food to mixed drinks ...yes I said it check it out”
