“Was shopping around for cerakote prices around Killeen, Cove & HH and Custom Defense in Killeen gave me the best price. Took my 34 & 43X in to get cerakoted the “Jesse James Cold War Grey” color and it came out perfect! Honest work and the best cerakote prices in town. 100% recommended and will only get my firearms done at Custom Defense.
Only con is I always walked out with optics and lights for them! Oh well! ? Thanks K and Lonnie!”

“Very nice and knowledgeable staff. Paid for 2 shooters and a S&W .380 EZ and 50 rounds and it came out to about 75. They have more targets against the wall when you're in the bay so you don't have to pay for more targets. I definitely recommend doubling hearing protection, we weren't firing anything big but some other folks who came in did and I was glad we doubled up.They have a nice little lobby I imagine you can clean your guns there or just hangout while you wait for a group. Overall I think I would say this is more a range while the Gun Range in Killeen is more of a gun shop with a gun range attached to it.”

“Have done a few transactions here and I’ll tell you straight up, this guy is a business man!! He understands the importance of building a relationship with a customer vs just making a quick buck! I have sold a few items including firearms and optics and has never tried to low ball me! I’ve bought guns and he has always been flexible on the price! “Small brick and mortar but loaded with a wide variety of "toys". Prices are a tad steep compared to gunbroker but staff is friendly and highly knowledgeable.”

“Some of the negative reviews were so bad I wanted to see this store in action. Cuz I can give back negative attitude with the best of them and had a half hour to kill. I was looking for an AR-15 but know very little about them. I heard the older gentleman hates noobies. So this was going to be fun with out even trying. So who greets me the second I walk in the store? The older man sitting behind the counter:). Just like the previous negative reviewer said he would lol. I tell him what I'm looking for something reasonable, and reliable. That I'd pay extra for something that would have less chance of jamming up. He got off his chair and proceeded to patiently teach me about all the ARs he had in stock. Showing me the good points and bad point and some the options that would be a waste of time ( and money) to someone with my current skill level. Explained the ammo, installed a new sight and how to adjust it. While he was out back bore siting it. His wife I assume helped me fill out the transfer paperwork while his son took care of another customer.
In closing I could simply not be happier with the gun,the customerservice, time they spent with me, he made no effort to up sell me into something I didn't need ( and he easily could have). I'll be back:).”
