This place is straight garbage, talk about shady personnel working here. They are the epitome of shady car salesman.

Just had a great experience with service center. I'll definitely use Cleo Bay going forward for my Forester servicing.

I want to thank Shawn Matsi who is the finance manager. He has helped me immensely. He has been helping me through the process with my issues. Once I told him about any issues I had he went out of his way to assist me although that was not his department. If I ever want to purchase another vehicle I will definitely buy from him. Thank you Shawn.

We came to see a Crosstrek in a specific color. We ended up meeting with Michael, who was fantastic through and through. He allowed us to test drive a few models to make sure my wife could pick the car that worked best for her. We were never rushed and they answered all of our question. The dealership went above and beyond to give us an amazing buying experience. We would def buy from Cleo Bay Subaru again.

sold me a vehicle with intentionally hidden/covered up hail damage. they continue to deny these damages they misrepresented to me. IF the dealer knew of the damage and failed to disclose it, that may have been fraud (the intentional misrepresentation of a material, or important, fact, done to induce, or cause, you to buy the vehicle). If so, then this could provide a basis to recover, by a lawsuit if necessary, compensation, such as the different in value between what you did pay and what you should have paid, had the damage been known. However, it is only fraud if they knew of the damage--it is not a misrepresentation to not disclose what you are unaware of. Therefore, you would have to show in court, if you sued, that they did in fact know, or logically must have known under the circumstancs, of the damage. If they did not know, they would not have been liable.

DO NOT TRUST CLEO BAY SUBARU BECAUSE, IN MY OPINION, THEY ARE SCOUNDRELS. In 2018, I saw a Cleo Bay Subaru ad for a used 2014 Honda Odyssey so I called and spoke to the the used car manager, Roger Smith, telling Roger that I was on my way to test drive their Odyssey. The car had a bad timing belt. When a timing belt on an Odyssey first starts to go out, you only hear the engine knock when the engine is cold. When I test drove the Odyssey, there was no knock; however, the first morning the day after I brought the car home from Cleo Bay Subaru, when I started the car cold, there was a definite knock. I took the car to Howdy Honda who diagnosed the knock as a bad timing belt. So there was no knock when I test drove the car after the car had been warmed up, but there was a knock after I brought the car home and started it cold. Consequently, it appears that Cleo Bay Subaru started the Odyssey before I arrived, heard the knock, and intentionally let the car warm up so that I would not hear the knock when I test drove it. What's more, the finance director, Shawn Matsi, sold me an extended warranty plan, telling me that if I took my Odyssey to a state licensed repair facility for a covered repair, the only out of pocket costs I would incur is a deductible of $100.00. Shawn told me that he had purchased the exact warranty and it had saved him money. However, when I took my Odyssey to Howdy Honda for covered repairs, Howdy Honda charged me the $100 deductible plus charges not covered by the extended warranty plan. For example, Howdy Honda diagnosed, removed and replaced my alternator charging me $537 for labor, but the extended warranty only covered $266.20 for labor, leaving a balance $270.80 that I had to pay out of my pocket. During that same visit, Howdy Honda charged me $268.50 labor to diagnose, remove and replace the right middle sliding door actuator, but the extended warranty would only cover $118.40 labor, leaving a balance of $150.10 that I had to pay out of my pocket. I spoke to Shawn Matsi about this several times. Shawn told me that he had a call into his extended warranty rep and he would get back to me once he heard from his rep. Shawn never called me telling me what he learned from his rep. Finally, after about a week, Shawn stopped taking my calls.

Wow, same song, twenty-first verse; was driving from Austin expecting to purchase a used 2015 XV Crosstec from these folks, paying what they were asking and they knew I was going to pay cash, when I got the following text: Good morning last night My manager was set on not accepting cash or outside financing on the vehicle He then called me to confirm that no financing, no deal. Oops, sorry, I thought you were an auto dealership, not a payday lender; my bad! (Apologies to the payday lenders..)

wish I could give this place 5 starts based on initial impressions. But sadly, this was just not the case. The staff upon entering was very friendly, and helpful. The process was easy (however I did pay cash for my vehicle and it doesn’t get much easier than that). I test drove my vehicle and had no issues whatsoever. I bought the car cash and turned down the warranty. I trusted in the fact it was a certified used vehicle and a dealership with a good reputation would stand behind their vehicles. The first few days I had tons of issues, some were actually dangerous. I brought it in and they said codes were good and I was sent on my way and asked to take video evidence about what was going on-which I did. Long story short (too late!) I had to drop my vehicle with them for an entire week, find different transportation, and they finally found one of the issues. Then they said they graciously put $10 in my gas tank-wow gee thanks guys. I have my vehicle back and don’t get me wrong, I like the vehicle, but still having issues (for instance, says hood is open when not), just annoying little things. They offered to look at it but honestly I don’t feel like dropping off my car for another week. It’s just disappointing to me to buy a car from a reputable dealer and have to fight for people to make things right. :( this is America people! Let’s be proud again of things we produce and sell!

10/10. Best experience at a car dealership. They were so kind and courteous! Michael helped us upgrade our old STI for a new one and he was so thoughtful. Highly recommend this dealership!

I believe that not all car salespeople have to be shady and unethical, but Joshua (from online sales) gave me a bait and switch today. I inquired about a car posted on their site, Joshua said it was available for me to come look at, and then told me it was 30-days out when I pushed for more info. Today vs 30-days is a big difference, and I don't take commuting to Killeen lightly.

Josh made the process super smooth and pleasant! We were informed our vehicle arrived this morning, and he had all the paperwork ready when we arrived to pick it up that evening so all we had to do was sign and drive away. We even left with a better deal than what was originally offered when we placed our down payment. I would buy here again in a heartbeat!

This place is a complete joke. Don't go here. Go to Austin for your Subaru needs. Incompetent, unprofessional, disappointing.
