Sometimes the wait is a little long but Dr Ray has the experience to know how to treat your pet without unnecessary expense. The whole staff loves animals and it shows.

My dog had a golfball size growth dr said it's not nothing and his heart was good. We went to a 2nd opinion at healthy paws and turned out his heart is bad and that growth was cancer. We will not be going back. Sorry not sorry

Best place ever! Dr.Ray saved my puppy’s life when she was only 8 weeks old and attacked by her own grandmother the evening before. He was so caring and respectful during my worst of time, appearance, and behavior. We have been making the drive from south of Henderson ever since for he and his wonderful staff to care for our 5 Cane Corso.
I would recommend the drive to Kilgore!

I had an emergency with my pup who is not even a patient here and they saw me right away. This is one of the kindest, nicest Doctors I have ever known. Dr Ray is amazing and kind.. I thank everyone there for the immediate care and kindness. 5 stars and 5 ❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️

I had a fire in my home and l l . had to board 3 of my dogs. they Were there over 2 months and even though they had all gained weight and I assumed they had been fed well, they had not been bathed in a very long time if at all cuz 2 of them have long hair and it was matted real bad and they both had sores on them. All of their nails were so long they were beginning to curl under. makes me wonder if there were really eating so well they gained weight or if they weren't let out daily for exercise and fresh air. Even though they weren't there for grooming purposes, boarding usually means to take care of and part of that would include keeping them clean. If they had given them any attention at all they would've noticed the sores and hopefully treated them accordingly. God knows they charged enough to totally groom them from head to toe once a week. I bathe my dogs every week and they have never had bad sores like the se. This was not my regular vet and a few days after bringing the home I decided the sores needed to be seen and it was time for their shots as well so I took them to my regular vet. He was shocked when I told him what had happened and that no explanation was offered as to why or how they got the sores and that no treatment had been given. I'm not really sure how I want to handle them allowing my babies to be so unkempt and come home with sores. Although I appreciate them taking them in until I had a place to take them, I will think long and. hard before leaving them in their care again. only as a last resort!
