Insure your packages! I have been in Kerrville just over 2 months and in that time this post office has lost 2 packages. We are not in the city so we have a mail box at the UPS Store. The first package didn't show up at my mailing address but tracking showed to have been picked up by customer at the post office. Why would I do that and why was it not delivered to my address? I was able to file a claim with Amazon on that one and they reshipped. On 09/03/24 I took 2 packages with prepaid lables to the post office to be mailed. One to Houston and one to Wharton. The Houston package arrived in a couple of days. The other is MIA. Tracking said it has not been delivered to the post office yet even though the post office scanned it in and gave me a receipt. I filed a complaint but they sent the complaint to Sugar Land TX! Why??? Now I am out over $200 for items that were going to my sister in law in a nursing home. All they will cover is about $100 after the pkg is missing for more than 30 days. I will never mail another package with USPS. Only using UPS.

Had three packages come in from Amazon. We live outside the city limits so I guess it is a rural carrier, anyway the carrier left the packages on the ground next to the mailbox at the edge of the road 150’ from the house. Tried to call the post office and could not get through to a person. This is the most absurd thing I have ever seen.

Mail delivery isn't until after 4 most days...no mail for 4 days in a row? Never have I not had mail daily. World's worst service ever. No wonder they are losing out to fed ex and ups

Even with paying for a post office box,they put all our mail with the one box that was put in a parcel locker. Couldn't get the mail till I came back when post office was open to get to the parcel locker. Also had mail that wasn't mine
