Not the best experience with a range, a range master was constantly on me and my friends about rapid fire when we were just firing one person after another at a slow pace, not only that but another range master was forcing us to shoot with a target when we were just wanting to try out new firearms, like their shotgun rule we were shooting without targets to not damage their equipment, and just have fun but I guess not.

Nice people, cheap to go shoot, and great setup! Highly recommend

I agree with Rich. The road is a little rough. You will scrape the sports car chassis. A regular car or pickup= perfect. The owners and staff go the extra mile to give you basic safety for an enjoyable shoot. 20 yard pistol range. 25, 50 and 100 yard rifle. If you are a shotgun person? The place really shines. It's setup for clay shooting. With a multitude of shooting stations. Update: The range is actively expanding to offer more shooting range services. Including air gun and archery. Available in the near future.

Great outdoor range for any caliber you bring. Friendly staff. Crazy potholed road to get there. Leave the luxury car at home. Take the truck.

I was there on Wednesday and Sunday and it was excellent. The Range Safety Officers on both days were knowledgeable, helpful and courteous. I will definitely be back.

This is hands down the most poorly managed range in Texas maybe in the United States. The owner is lazy, rude and cheap. It’s a shame, the terrain and facilities have so much potential but because of poor management the facilities are worn out and in various states of disrepair, there are constant malfunctions and machines run out of targets frequently. All of which are easily avoidable by just doing the bare minimum. The owner only gives the exact amount of targets to shoot a round of skeet or trap, so any show pairs, malfunctions or broken targets come out of your round and you have to add another full round to finish.I understand running any business has it’s challenges and running a shooting range is no different but this is just laziness. I hate to leave a bad review on any business especially one that is related to shooting sports or the shooting industry, but the owner of this range needs a wake up call or he needs to sell it to someone who will give this range the love and care it deserves.Having facilities where people can come and shoot their firearms and train with them is critical to keeping the second amendment strong. Ranges and owners like this leave a bad taste in the mouth of new gun owners and seasoned gun owners like myself.I won’t be back until I hear news of new ownership, if that day never comes I’ll take the time to drive to the National Shooting Complex in San Antonio or Copperhead Creek in Marble Falls. Both ranges keep their equipment running, are well managed and well kept.

I saw a couple poor reviews about the service/staff, and I couldn’t disagree more. Best service at a shooting range hands down. Everyone was super helpful and accommodating! The staff took the time to make sure we were comfortable with the equipment. We had a party of 6 and shot for about 2.5 hours. The skeet and trap shooting is one of the best in the area.My only gripe would be their website. While it provides decent info it seems to be old, outdated, and slow.I would highly recommend spending some time a hill country shooting.

Nice ranges, good range masters, good prices.Once you're on the property it's better for trucks, SUVs and other larger vehicles. Low cars be careful.

Visited Hill Country Shooting Center to break up a long weekend in Fredericksburg. The gentleman who was working that day was so generous with his time — he even helped me get comfortable with my new Benelli. Great prices, pretty area, not too crowded in the AM. Next time I’m in the area, I’ll definitely be back!

Not really busy but it needs to be cleaned up & organized. When you arrive it's unclear where to go or what to do. Just needs a refresh of the grounds & buildings.
