Over the years l've bought numerous parts and other products from Autozone, both in store and online. I understand going into a Autozone most of the staff is unable to provide much assistance and are completely confined to looking up parts by make, model and year. Working on my vehicle today I unexpectedly found I needed two CV boot straps, so l thought l'd give Autozone a try. After waiting for maybe a minute I caught the attention of one of what seemed like three people working at the Kerrville store. I asked the young man who seemed completely disinterested in even being at work if the store carried straps for CV boots. His response was as follows; "You have to order those for a place like a
ummmm...warehouse that has machines to make them". I understand if the location doesn't carry them, even if over half the vehicles on the road have CV axles that require replacement on occasion. I wouldn't be writing this review if your completely incompetent employee had simply attempted to provide a modicum of service and a simple "sorry sir we don't stock those". He had zero interest in providing any level of customer service. After today I will never spend my hard earned money with Autozone, either In person or online.

I have very mixed feelings about AutoZone. They are ALWAYS extremely helpful. Unfortunately they always try to sell you the most expensive replacement part. I admit I have 0 mechanical sense. $300 for a battery?! $30+ for 1 windshield wiper blade?! I won't be going there anymore. My daughter & soninlaw are mechanics and from now on they can fix whatever is wrong. I gave Autozone 2 chances and I regret going there.

Stopped in at the Kerrville Autozone needing help with a blown tail light fuse. The friendly ladies there were helpful in finding where the fuse box and while there it was discovered the engine had no oil. Thankful for their help, we made it back home.

I had the misfortune and blessing of needing a new battery while on a road trip. Stopping in Kerrville, TX, and meeting Mr. Donnie at the Auto Zone was truly a blessing. He changed my battery and quickly got us on our way. They were all professional, but he is the one who truly came to our rescue. I am grateful that there are people like him in the world who lend a hand and offer service with a smile. Thank you, Auto Zone, and thank you, Mr. Donnie, for your service.
