First trip there. Really enjoyed it. Dani and Cory are both very cool! Great place to launch a kayak. Cabins are rustic and comfortable. Max our Labrador enjoyed it but he wanted to chase the chickens!? We are planning to come back as soon as the weather gets warmer. The breakfast is ready every morning and hot and good. Coffee and tea there too. Beautiful view by the way!

Super friendly, very accommodating and have a great fishing dock. Covered boat slips is a huge plus and you get free breakfast when you stay. The cabins are all nice and roomy as well

Excellent family owned business! Can't say enough about this wonderful family getaway spot. The rooms were clean, the service was excellent, and the breakfast was amazing. We look forward to making yearly memories at this wonderful place!Thank you again for such a lovely stay.

Are any races allowed don't want to experience a culture shock or family or children? Reason I ask this is because of all the photos, If not would love to come for we are country and love to fish or hunt!

We booked a weekend stay in the Mallard cabin. The cabins are simple but have everything you need and clean. The hosts are super nice and the grounds are nice and well kept. We also talked with some other guests about the guided hunting and fishing trips and they were very satisfied. We would definitely stay again.

My family and I have enjoyed our annual stay here since they have been open. We look forward to visiting and making memories at this beautiful lodge. The fishing is great, grounds and cabins are clean and nice. Darrel and his family/staff are very friendly and go above an beyond to make sure we feel welcome. Can’t recommend this place enough.

Took a trip put with Mr. Joe Moore on 6-18-20. Had a totally awesome day fishing! Having worked on a fishing boat for about 20 years out of Corpus Christi Bay, I know what is expected from the crew. Joe went.over and above what I expected. Has a super great attitude and just an all around good man. I highly recommend his guide service. I fished by solo this trip, but, talking a boatload next trip!! Thanks again Joe! "You Are The Man!!"

Great place. Off the beaten path and probably the best lodging you're gonna find for miles around. Very clean, too. These guys take pride in their resort.I stayed in the Blue Cat Lodge (I think) and was able to park my boat onsite beside the lodge and recharge it overnight.Things the Owners should address:No advertised WiFi in the lodges. I requested the network and password info from the host with no response.You won't be charged the full amount of your stay on your card so the host will call you after you depart and get your credit card info all over again, which is inconvenient and a waste of time for the host and the guest.Other than those two issues it was a great stay.
