I've been a client for at least the past seven years for my three little Chihuahua's. I wouldn't go anywhere else for vet care. AAHA vet practices are the best for a long, happy healthy life for your pet for sure.

I can't say enough good things about Woodland Springs Veterinary Hospital! I've been coming here for 3 years. Dr. Ken Slough and his team are absolutely incredible! I've truly never experienced such thorough and attentive vet care. Regardless of whomever you interact with, they all have one goal in mind, making sure your pet gets the best possible care. Dr. Ken Slough is knowledgeable, kind, professional and clearly passionate about his work. He took the time to follow up individually to check on my English Bully after surgery and make sure she's doing okay. Stacy is amazing, she treats my dogs like family! I've already referred friends and family to this clinic and will continue to do so going forward. Woodland Springs Veterinary Hospital is a shining example of what all vet clinics and hospitals should strive to be! Thank YOU for everything you do for Diega and Parker!

We all despise vet visits because of the bills, but I know that WSVH won't complete unnecessary tests just to make a buck and don't feel so bad about going like I did with my precious vet. They tell me what they are doing and expected costs before moving forward. We have an English Bulldog with serious skin issues plus anxiety. We've seen Dr. Slough and Dr. Losak and love them both. They've both worked very hard to find the perfect treatment for our dog's skin and we are seeing great improvement. They both have great bedside manner. They spend the time to get to know us and chat, and not just rush through appointments. The vet techs and ladies at the front desk are all great, too. It took us 4 different vets to find WSVH and we are so happy with them.

Understaffed, inexperienced workers that complain about large dogs. They put a muzzle on my pitbull because he was being "aggressive" and their only reasoning was because he was "breathing hard." We only went in there for a NAIL TRIM. They refuse to show me the video footage of my dog being treated back there as well after I repeatedly asked for it. They called the cops and said they "feared for their safety." This hospital is a joke. Go somewhere else.

No urgency in regards to appointments. Don't bother coming early as you WILL NOT GET IN.

I have put off writing this, but I am confident that we will never use this vet again due to a few instances when our dog was a puppy. First, he swallowed a penny. Research shows the copper is harmful. When I contacted them, they insisted for him to come in right away. $700 later... after running blood tests, X-rays and simply giving him wet food, he pooped it out. Yes, shame on me for not finding out about using wet food, but it sure would have been appreciated if they could have made this simple suggestion before taking him in. Our very young puppy went back for vaccinations a few weeks later and the way a female vet talked down to me about his excited behavior during this visit was unacceptable. He was simply a very playful puppy and She was very unprofessional. This place is also Very Expensive. There are so many better alternatives including the Texas Coalition of Animal Protection.

Uhhhh, I am not a fan of this place. I put off writing this a bit because we came here for a second opinion on a sick dog; my usual vet couldn't get us in in a timely manner and I wanted tests done. From the get-go, the vet seemed like she was convinced it was something terrible, didn't smile, and honestly didn't pay much attention to our dog. We did x-rays and an ultrasound, and when there was something suspicious on the ultrasound, they referred us to an internal med place for surgery - and when I called, they told me they don't even do surgery! At the place they referred me! For surgery! Finally I just called my usual vet and they were able to do a splenectomy and exploratory surgery about 10 days later. It's a world of difference going to my usual vet - where they are so sympathetic, call my dog my baby, love all over him - and here where they were negative and didn't even seem sympathetic telling me he needed surgery. Oh and one more thing - the SAME MEDICINE was 50% more buying it at this vet vs. my usual one!

I have contemplated writing this for weeks. The staff was friendly but the vet was rude and the prices are ridiculous. The vet asked me questions about my dog, where I got her, her last vet appointment, how long I've lived in the area etc. She asked me multiple times where, I answered ASPCA but she wanted the location. I answered California, I am originally from there but haven't lived there in 8 years. My cousin is a vet and when I visit I take my dog to see him. She heard California and ran with it , "Californians are coming here and buying up all our houses" "They just have so much money" and asked when I bought my house. It was extremely uncomfortable and unprofessional. I am originally from California yes, but I didn't come with "California money". I am a teacher in Fort Worth and saved. Like I said I haven't lived in California for 8 years. It felt like harassment, save your money and go elsewhere.

We have been going here for about 3 months. Our new pup has had several minor health issues. They are super nice and super responsive. All the staff very is very knowledgable. They don't even mind when my pup "happy pees". Not sure about the negative reviews as that has not been our experience at all. Definitely recommend!

this is a horrible place! they literally treat you like s**** they make an appointment and then make you wait for hours. the really fat receptionist is super rude..! she screamed at me one day..!!! what kind of jerks are these people. i called to complain.!! no one apologized to me. they killed two of ny dogs. i should have sued them. i should have never gone back to begin with! they never apologized fior their negligence! they hire vet students who claim your dog has cancer. you cant see cancer with an x-ray. you need a biopsy!. i was referred to vca of dallas. a business owner told me they get bribes to refer owners to vca. then the vca kills a dog without cancer with radiation!!!

This place is awful!!! And they obviously can't keep a vet ...... expensive , been getting meds for my dogs off chewy!!! For over a year and now because others have had issues they aren't using it.. I would recommend checking out other vets within the area ... the people at the front .. there too many of them and they will make u. Come out of character!

It seems like you have to be your own best advocate for not only yourself but your pet these days. I'm giving this 3 stars because my boy is feeling better and they got me in quickly. I checked him in for a hives outbreak and ear infection, the vet looked him over and gave me a quote. She said the low end was 450 and the high end around 580!! After going through everything they wanted done to him, more than half of the "treatment" was unnecessary charges and after telling them I didn't need them they tried to convince me otherwise. I was questioning her why I'd need some of the things and she walked out on me and sent in the vet to talk to me instead. I told her the same thing and that I just wanted to keep the basic most needed items and it brought the charge down to 227. They were frustrated with me because I wouldn't buy all their crap but my dog is fine today. Had I not checked what they wanted to charge me I would have been out of another 300 for no other reason than to make them more money. Check before you pay people.

Our first time coming here was yesterday and we were so impressed with how Dr.McCutchon was with our dogs. At our previous vet our dogs were scared and the Dr. didn't seem to care. Safe to say we will be seeing Dr, McCutchon from now on. It was a bonus that she too is an Aggie!

I was so pleased with the service. All though l already had a veterinary for my pet. I went there because of one of there specialty services. I was so pleased with the doctor as well as the technician's. I decided to change veterinarians.
