Went to the post office in Kaufman today 07/19/24 at 4:29pm and the post office employee was locking the door as I entered. She was closing the PO 1/2 hour early for some reason. Website says it is open till 5pm like it always has been. More wasted taxpayer dollars.

Alright I will revise my rating since 6 years have past… Let’s say I have not had to request the post master. The staff is always so helpful and truly want to help. Is our postal service perfect? Nope. But do we have great people in Kaufman, absolutely.

These Rural Postal Carriers. Needs to close mail boxes doors. I watched as the carrier opened the door of my mail box. They put the mail in. And drove off to next box. And did the same thing to 4 consecutive boxes. And this one carrier at times. Delivers mail very late. 7pm to 7:30pm.

I recommend going to crandall if you need a change of address form. They never have any and who wants to be charged a fee online if you can get it for free

Once again a package I ordered to be delivered to P.O. Box was sent back to sender upon arrival to the Kaufman Post Office! I have had a P.O. Box there for 3 years! Hire competent workers please! Will just start having packages delivered to my work address since you guys can't do your job right!

They never deliver the mail in our neighborhood correctly. My neighbor always gets my packages in there mailbox. They need to hire reliable people not just anyone who wants a job.

Mail is waaaaay slower to get distributed than other postal locations, outdated lobby area, receiving mail that's been OPENED.

This business can’t get worse. The worst customer service phone line in the world, terrible customer service in person. Never any help when needing to find a package. I can’t wait for USPS to go out of business.

whoever is doing the delivery here needs to be fired they make up lies so they don’t have to deliver to my house just say you’re lazy you don’t need to say “animal interference” WHEN MY DOGS aren’t even outside my house and the gate is closed who’s dog is stopping you from delivering to my house i’d love to know.

I would give zero stars as I wish many could. I got an email saying I had mail and packages delivered to my “mailbox” by the time I got out of work and home I found the packages in my ditch torn to shreds!! If it doesn’t fit in the mailbox leave a note and I’ll pick it up at the post office!!

There are signs posted on the front door stating to wear a mask. Texas currently has the highest levels of COVID-19 in the country. People are standing right next to each other with no mask on. The employees working behind the counter... no mask. Unbelievable.
