So zippy shell sounds like a good deal they drop the shell off and you fill it up and it gets shipped... but here's the thing. You only have 3 days to fill the shell. There is a 12 hr window 8 am to 8 pm for them to do it off... be prepared to only have nearly 2 days to load/ unload the shell bc it will come late. Zippy Shell takes no responsibility for your shell arriving and getting picked up on time they just claim çohhh the warehouse this and the warehouse that" ugh! I'm frustrated with them!

STOP!!! DO NOT USE ZIPPYSHELL UNTIL YOU READ THIS! We had a very poor experience with Zippyshell (ZP) and from the review it seems as if we are not the only ones. We set up a contract with the group and they claimed on the call that we would get 3 movers for four hours. When ZS showed up with the POD, there were only two movers, and they said they only work for 3 hours. Make sure you have the language in your contract, our contract called out "team," a tricky way to screw you. They ended up charging us $55 an hour extra but did not discuss this charge until the movers had left with our stuff. Another way to extort more money out of you.The contract read 8 to 10 business days before ZS would deliver our container. Mind you, when I purchase something from Amazon, I get an update every step of the way. ZS has no way of tracking your POD, which seems extremely unprofessional and is par for the course with this company. The POD showed up on the 12th day and ZS did not send movers as contracted to help unload the POD. We are also waiting for our refund which has not come yet.Please do not use this company, they are cheap, and you get what you pay for. They are unprofessional and will try to charge you extra at every turn. This company should be reported to the Better Business Bureau and those of us that have had these terrible experiences should band together and start a class-action lawsuit.

Alex and his team are great. Prices are good, and service is good. Only reason I remove a star is because it was said to be climate controlled... and instead is in a warehouse with fans pumping air throughout... but anything in there will get HOT, or cold. As long as you are aware of this, then it will be fine for you. We did have some mold in one of our units, a snake in one, and a bunch of field mice that made their home in our stuff. For the most part though, everything was fine. Alex was more than accommodating, and we will use him in the future.

Moving is such an ordeal. To rent a pod makes the headache so much more bearable. If you EVER need a pod delivered to your old place then taken to the new location give Alex at Zippy Pod a call. He will DEFINITELY make the stress easier!

I was looking for a short term storage solution fpr furniture I needed out of the way during installation of new flooring. ZippyShell offered the short term basis I wanted plus the advantage of not having to rent a truck. Perfect solution for a fair price, and very prompt and courteous service.

Very reliable and practical service. If you need temporary storage, it is provided. When you need your stuff they take where you want. I have used twice and I will recommend to use it to anyone.

Would give negative stars if I could. They're holding our belongings hostage and not notifying us of a delivery date. Literally have no idea when we'll get our stuff back. Seriously, DO NOT USE this company - here in Houston or anywhere for that matter. Look around on the internet before hiring them, I wish I had - there are numerous negative review. I filed a complaint against them with both the BBB and FMCSA.
