I moved to Texas about 2.5 years ago, and one of my big concerns was finding a reliable vet for my dogs. After doing some research, I decided to give Williamsburg Animal Clinic a try because it was conveniently close to us and the reviews were overwhelmingly positive. Now, almost three years later, I can confidently say that this clinic has exceeded my expectations!
The doctor and his staff are always friendly, professional, and caring. They consistently take great care of our dogs, and we’ve never had any issues with their services. The clinic environment is welcoming, and they make both pets and owners feel at ease.
If you’re in the area and looking for a trustworthy vet, I highly recommend Williamsburg Animal Clinic!

We have had nothing but wonderful experiences with Williamsburg Animal Clinic. Dr. McCary and his staff are always so patient with our dog. You can tell they truly want what is best for pets and their families.

Dr. McCary and his staff are excellent! Dr. McCary graduated Cum Laude from Texas A&M and he is extremely good with diagnostics and just knowing what needs to be done. He will call other veterinary specialists when he needs more information on treatments, etc. He is very easy to talk to and will make you feel right at home. His love of animals is evident! He will always discuss options for treatment and allow you to decide whatever you are comfortable with, both medically and financially.

Came here after I adopted my dog from CAP. Employees were nice, check in was fast and the exam was thorough. They gave my dog some medicine for his infection and he’s been doing lots better!

From the front desk to the exam room, incredible experience across the board. Everyone was super friendly, and the vet walked me through my dogs allergy problems and all of the solutions. This will be my spot while I live in Katy!

I made an online appointment for Wednesday. When I did not hear back from them , I thought my appointment was fine. I went there on Wednesday and there was a person, she stated Doctor does not work on Wednesdays and she could not find my appointment. I told her that their online sistem more likely have an issue , and let the doctor know , otherwise , people like us thinking they set up an appointment, and show up knowing that it is not an appointment system. She started taken it personally , and seems that she was irritated. We told her it is not her fault, but system in their website is confusing, and set up an appointment for Friday. When we went there on Friday, Vet seems to be irritated and started to attack us and was very rude and arrogant. He was saying it is our fault , and their website is not an appointment system, it is an appointment request system. In order to make an appointment somebody has to call us,etc. Am I supposed to know how their system works? And Also , he was showing me an email they sent me. When I come home, I checked my email, Junk email. deleted email. I could not even find any email comes from them. Regardless of email, if your website system is not appointment system, you should take it down, and state that for an appointment, call our office. Second of all, if you are not working on Wednesday, you make it clear that your website does not show Wednesday you are open half day. You need to state that Wednesday you are closes. It is up to you when you want to work, it is nobody's business, however, if you are advertising you are open Wednesday and Walk ins are welcome, then , it become customers business as well , because you are going to waste their time.. I am definitely not happy with their attitude and take my business somewhere else.

Dr. McCary has been wonderful with our dog and both our cats. He's been seeing my mother-in-laws cats since the very beginning. Mention his name when pet care comes up in casual conversation, and even people that don't have pets or take their pets somewhere else closer will say things like, "Oh I've heard great things about Dr. McCary." That's because it's true.

Dr. McCary and his team have been helping my pets for many years. The office is a pleasure to work with, and Dr. McCary always takes time to answer my questions. The quality of care for my chronically ill pets has been excellent, and the prices are reasonable. I highly recommend Williamsburg Animal Clinic for your furry family members.

Dr. McCary is absolutely the BEST! He is thorough and knowledgeable, but doesn’t run a bunch of unnecessary tests that run up your bill. He absolutely saved our pugs life when he swallowed something in the backyard. We are so grateful for his caring and loving staff as well! We will never go anywhere else.
