This place is crazy busy . 30 min minimum staying in line and have to go multiple times to get your medicine . Not recommend this place to any one .

DO NOT USE THIS PHARMACY at Walgreens on Mason and Westheimer Pkwy.I have had prescriptions filled by them before, but today... two female pharmacists and an their assistant told me out of the blue that my insurance is not valid. I have Humana.I have been insure by Humana since 2018.So, they tell me to wait. And I wait. And I wait. Finally I get my prescription for 1 month. Not the 3 months that my doctor prescribed.I said "Let me pay with Good RX". They acted like that wasn't an option. Then I was told, Humana does not use Walgreens. Are you serious?? Yes! They do! I have used Walgreens before!!!Finally they say "Oh. Your insurance went through". I paid $60 when it should have been lower.1. They could not validate my insurance.2. They made me wait while helping others until I asked what the status was.3. Avoided me paying with GoodRX.4. Told me Humana does not use Walgreens.5. Would not fill my 3 month prescription. These people should not be put in a position to handle people's prescriptions if this is the level of customer service.I will never visit another Walgreens as long as I live. And I'm young. So, that's a long time I hope.Shame on you.

This Walgreens has been having issues lately with opening up on time. Today it is 7:13 am , people in cars waiting and no one has came to open up store. Customers are leaving. They are definitely loosing money in this process.

Over the phone, they couldn't tell me when I could pick up my meds; they just said "today". Because of the uncertainty, I had to drive to the pharmacy twice to get only 1 out of 3 medications. The other two had unknown ETA, and the pharmacist couldn't even tell me when I could get them. Used to be a reliable place, now it's more like the Walgreens at 411 Mason where there is a lot of chaos. Such a waste of time. Will consider switching pharmacies

Visted this store earlier this morning to buy a 120 dollar electric toothbrush. Get home open the box which appeared to be sealed, it is missing the main component. I go back to the store this evening to see what we could do. What has me absolutely livid is that the manager would not even come talk to me face to face. Told me it was not their problem through the employee and there was nothing that could be done and to contact the manufacturer. On a 120 dollar purchase I expect more. Recommend new mangement.

I called to get a prescription refilled. I waited online for 30 minutes and nobody answered. I know it is a busy time but in 30 minutes somebody should've called me back.

Store was understaffed. Cashier was trying (and failing) to find pictures a customer had ordered, a line was building, she called for assistance, I was needing help at the fragrances, took another employee 10 minutes to come up front from the time she first paged him. Understaffed, not well run.

Geiselle, who was working at the photo counter is probably the single most disrespectful person I’ve ever had to encounter in public. She was so rude and refused to give me my pictures that were sitting right behind her because she was “closed” yet still standing and working behind the photo counter on developing photos. Her behavior was nothing short of disgusting and I am embarrassed for her and her behavior. She needs a lesson on customer service or just being a decent human in general.

Today I went in around 8:00pm and there was a long line. I saw the manager walking around the store while I was shopping but not helping her cashier with the long line of customers. After I gathered the things I needed I went into line. The young lady up front expressed they were short staffed which is not a problem. She began to call for the manager over the intercom to come help. After the manager didn’t come an employee that was off the clock waiting in line in front of me said they were go look for the manager. He came back and stated he couldn’t find the manager. The cashier tried calling for the manager a second time and the manager again never came in. I have to say this is poor management. An employee should not be left alone when there is such a big rush of customers when the manager could’ve easily came and helped not just her but the customers.

We use Walgreens a lot. Early on in the pandemic, I started boosting my immune system with a Walgreens Probiotic. I have used very powerful probiotics before to battle difficult illnesses because my immune system is suppressed. Covid could be very bad for me. I have been taking this Walgreens probiotic for 3+ years every day. I think it helps. I mask up in public still and have only had 1 minor sinus infection in 4 years. No other illnesses. WELL....Walgreens put their probiotics on sale recently. BOGO-by one get one FREE. For me, on a set income of just Soc Sec, this would be a big savings. Well, the 1st 2 stores only had 1 box. HUH? The 3rd store had 2 boxes, but no more. The 4th store likewise had only 2 boxes. It became very clear that Walgreens had the sale, but they made sure only 1 customer at each store would reap the benefits of the sale. For curiosity's sake, I checked out 2 more stores, and they also had just 1 box and 2 boxes. I rest my case.

Laney took it upon herself to make sure the photo books that I ordered would be ready for pick up. Everything was very appreciated. Great presentation.
