The customer service is horrible. They don't make you feel welcome at all. Let me begin with, that I called ahead of time to make an appointment at 1pm. They realized that they had taken in a walk-in and weren't going to attend to me on time. They told me to wait 20 minutes but it was very dismissive the way they approached the situation. But I figured I could wait. After waiting half an hour I received a text message saying that my appointment was modified to 1:55pm. They didn't have the audacity to tell me in person of what was going on. I understand fully that things happen but I suggest that they look at their schedule before prioritizing walk-ins.

I recently visited this Diesel location and had an amazing experience with Emily. Emily's skills were exceptional, and I couldn't be happier with the haircut I received. She understood exactly what I wanted and executed it with precision and style. Her attention to detail and ability to create a tailored look truly impressed me. I highly recommend this barbershop, especially if you're looking for a stylist who can transform your hair into a work of art.

I tried to book a haircut, I was on the website, it said $70.00 for full service described as "An awesome haircut, shampoo, scalp massage, hot towel face treatment, back of the neck shave, a relaxing shoulder massage paired with an awesome hot lather face shave. Pamper yourself." I told her I could be there in minutes if they could take me. She asked if I had been there and what I wanted. I said the full service. That's when the confusion started, 70 went out the window and then we were up to 80... not sure why she didn't just book the cut. It is the typical nickel and dime scam. I said never-mind. This is the craziness that it has become to get a haircut and a shave in Katy, TX. These freakin barbers think they are brain surgeons, ridiculous to pay 50 much less 80 but I was willing until I started getting the run around. The crazy part is, if she would have said, see you in a few instead of trying to make it complicated, I would be there by now getting a nice haircut and a shave. Mr. Manager, free advice here. Don't let dumb people answer the phone.

I have used this barbershop for about a year now. I am very happy with the service. I think I have gotten haircuts from each employee. They have all been professional and good at their jobs. I do like the neck shave and the hot towel treatment at the end of the cut. I think they do a great job at this shop.

Maggi is definitely my favorite barber of all time. She is very intricate and detail oriented. I've been coming here for over a year and it has always been a consistent and amazing cut. She's also very easy/fun to talk to and shows great professionalism while managing the shop. The barbershop itself is really chill and clean with cool throwback vibes that will take you back. Everyone here is friendly and nice.

Second time visiting I walk in the guy (who wouldn't tell me his name) with a yellow buzz cut meets me at the front desk and asks me something like "what cut will you be getting" I reply the same cut I got last time" nobody corrected me saying they don't keep records of who gets what cut and my barber never asked what are we doing today. I already had a mullet growing the back of my hair was obviously longer and curlier than the rest of my hair. Without confirming or asking they cut it off and I had just grown it long enough for it to be kinda identifiable as a mullet. Communication between the clients and staff is unacceptable it's my second time at your establishment and last pathetic

I was struggling to find a venue for my haircuts when I found Diesel. My first visit, that included my son, was excellent. Dee cut son's hair and mine. Fast forward to yesterday. I went to book another visit with Dee to find out that she is no longer there. I was disappointed but wanted to return as I really enjoyed the experience. After researching reviews of stylist, I made a decision and booked an appointment for today at 5:30. I received a confirmation this morning and felt comfortable that I would be prepared and feel good for the OTC trade show scheduled for tomorrow. I was running extremely behind and had considered canceling to try and reschedule at a later time or another location. However, I recalled the notice when booking "no shows will be charged to the credit card booked". I made a point to be at my appointment 10 minutes early. I arrived and noticed that every waiting chair was taken and it did give me immediate concern. However, I had an appointment so I should be ok, right, NO! After checking in, the person at the front desk indicated that my stylist was behind and could not take me at my booked time of 5:30. He also indicated that they couldn't take me at 6:00 as they had another appointment. Basically, they cancelled on me. I was blown away and questioned why they cancelled my appointment and not the 6:00. I am assuming that it must have been a regular and I simply was not a priority. In the end, I looked down and noticed that "walk-in" customers had been placed ahead of me. If they appeared to be overbooking, why accept the walk in customers. Poor management and planning are my assumed reasons for this and I will not return. This location should be ashamed for the lack of professionalism and could learn a thing or two about customer retention. Avoid unless you are an existing VIP

I called to see if they would be able to do curly hair and an individual confirmed. I took my boyfriend here since it was recommended. The barber Joe messed up the haircut so bad that my boyfriend was terrified to be seen and bought a hat to hide his hair. The picture below is what was wanted compared to what was received. I do not recommend!! Couldn't even get a refund!

I had a great experience with Joe. He cut my hair right, made a correction i asked for when we were finished. (something that i wasn't clear about to begin with) and he did great job getting my beard back on track and under control. Ill be back.

I have tried to book two different appointments with the following services at this location via the website : Wax Ear Diesel Plus Electric Razor Fade Mega Beard Trim with Line Up Both times the Wax Ear was cancelled. One because the machine was not working and the other and the other because no one was available. The first time I ended up going to a different Diesel location. If no one can do this service, why allow the scheduling of it? This is by far the worst experience I have had with any barbershop.

If I could rate this place any lower I would. If you don't know how to cut hair find another profession. I don't know how someone could hire a "barber" that doesn't know what tf their doing. How tf are you a barber but don't know how to do a regular skin fade ? 20+ years of experience of what ? Because I know for a fact it's not barbering. Can't blend for sh*t, fucked up my whole line up, and when you tell them to just cut the tips on top I guess that means to cut off all your hair. Worse haircut I've probably ever got. Will never EVER be going back to this location. Worse barbershop experience in my whole entire life. Again if I could rate this place a 0 out of 5 I would. Never going to any diesel barbershop after this.

Worst experience...tip for any barbershop owner if your barber doesn't know know how to cut hair then don't let them f up a customers hair. Went in Saturday around 2pm to get a fade and they immediately said it was gonna be 40$ no biggie, I figured they knew what they were doing but got the absolute worst fade ever so bad one of the managers had to intervene to finish the haircut. To finish it off the manager didn't even offer a discount I payed 40$ for the worst fade ever. Not recommended at all if you get fades they will mess it up.
