Josh (the owner) is very professional and very experienced with his windshield repair. I came in to fix my quarter cracked windshield, he got it repaired less then 30 minutes ,looks great and stress-free for me. I went to get my windshield looked at. Once upon getting there. The owners where in a argument. The guy says give me 5 minutes. They walk outside. I can hear everything. The guy comes in and said sorry let's go look. We go outside and he just glance at my windshield and then said you will need to replace the whole thing. I asked how much he said the amount. I felt so uncomfortable. I said thank you. He walked away to go continue the argument with his business partner. I totally felt blown off and he didn't want my business. I left. I picked them cuz of their reviews. I picked wrong. Hopefully they work it out.

2nd time, I have used the Chip Doctor. Once for a windshield replacement and then a chipped windshield on a new car. By appointment only.Great customer service and prestine results. Affordable!

YOU WONT REGRET GOING HERE!My car was broken into and had to get 3 windows completely replaced. After calling multiple locations, Josh not only gave me one of the best prices but explained to me my options. He had quick and great service !! So appreciative for him. I got a rock chip the size of a thumbnail on the edge of my massive panoramic glass on my Tesla Model X. After communicating with Josh and sending him pictures - he warned me that this was a very difficult area to repair because if the crack extended to the edge, then I would be looking at a replacement. It was worth a shot because a crack like this would just get worse with time - especially in the hot summer months to follow (heat causes glass to expand, so the crack would also expand). Tesla quoted me $1800 to replacement my windshield and even they thought that it couldn’t be repaired. I could see that I had only about 1/4 inch of glass left from my crack to the edge, so this repair required a high level of skill and expertise. I brought the car on a rainy day, which Josh told me that I had to come back because water would not allow him to repair it correctly and have the best chance for success. I truly appreciated his honesty and foresight because I feel that most people would be eager just to repair whatever they could just to make a paycheck - not Josh. He cleaned the area then placed a glass sticker on the area to prevent further contamination and told me to come back once the weather dried up and was cooler. I brought the car to him today in the morning before the afternoon rain, and the weather was perfect. Josh took his time carefully repairing the defect. I watched him as he worked and you could tell that he has a very high level of skill and passion for his work. He did not rush and was very intentional with his procedure. After holding my breath and hoping that the crack would not propagate during the repair process, the glass was restored and structural integrity regained. I am so amazed by his level of skill, passion, and integrity. He’s one of those guys that you find that you will always call back and send your family and friends to should the situation happen again - and it will because it’s Houston. See my pictures to see the whole process. Josh has a clean shop that’s well-ventilated, and has some of the coolest tools/equipment to get the job done right the first time. Sure, you can get your rock chip repaired under a tent in the smoldering heat on a street corner, but if you want high quality work, Josh is the man. Thank you Josh!Service: Window repair

Brought my civic in today (by appointment) for a windshield replacement.Josh provided excellent service. It only took about an hour for him to replace the windshield. He went the extra mile in a couple of other ways as well.The cost for labor, parts, service, etc. was around the price I would’ve paid if I decided to go through my insurance (which I did not) so I’m happy to not have to deal with my insurance company at all for the windshield replacement.
