Amazing facility, coaches, and program. The teachers are nice but strict and the programs are challenging exactly what my athletic and energetic child needs! We have been looking for a gymnastics program that doesn’t stall her progress and force her to stay at a younger level because of her age, and this is exactly what she has needed her age group (5yrs) has 3 levels each more challenging that she will be in and this is the only program in Katy that offer an anything like this.

Highly recommended for serious gymnasts.

This gym held the district qualifier for gymnastics. The gym forced gymnasts to stand outside for over a half hour in 108° weather. The gym did not have enough chairs or viewing area for everyone to see the competition. The gym itself has no A/C in the loft that was packed. This gym should not be allowed to host competitions. The meet director did nothing about a parent from Cypress Huffmeister that cussed a 6 year old child out for playing with a toy that annoyed her(this was not her child)!

Great gym for competition. Had an issue with other moms, she commented down below. Could not be further from the truth of what happened. She "accidentally " forgot to mention that her husband cornered us outside of the bathroom, calling us the B word and cussing at us in Spanish in front of their 6 year old. Not to mention that they brought in the attached toy and let their daughter shake it the ENTIRE competition. All of our videos with our daughter competing have that noise continuously in the background. I suggest having staff in the parents section to monitor this type of behavior. I would take any of her complaints with a grain of salt in the future.

Gymnastics is a hard sport and comes with ups and downs. Gymnasts need both mental and physical strength. Stars and their coaches have always put what is best for the gymnast first. My daughter has been at stars for 4 years and has done things I never could of imagined because of the coaches. She isn’t the strongest or will never go to the Olympics but they still encourage her and are teaching her lessons she can carry through with her in life. I appreciate the coaches time on figuring out what is best for each individual gymnast. I highly recommend Stars Gymnastics and their coaches.

My daughter absolutely loves Stars. We've been here for almost 2 years and she's thriving. You can't have this many state champs, regional champs and national competitors... without knowledgeable coaches!

The following statements are my opinion from personal experiences.
My daughter was a member of the Stars Gymnastics team for several years. The program has abusive coaches. Management sees any concerns expressed by parents as a threat. They put their own interests above the safety and welfare of the child athletes. Any effort to resolve issues is met with anger and hostility. Issues that could be easily be resolved by simple conversation end up in retaliation against the child. My child worked her behind off for years and her athletic career ended because she turned to get herself an ice pack for her injured ankle and was yelled at that getting an icepack was disrespectful. She went to the bathroom because she had her cycle and was told going to the bathroom was also disrespectful.
As a child athlete she deserves to be cared for medically. If the coaches are not caring for her she has every right to care for her own injury unhindered. She also has a right to use the toilet. The behavior is atrocious. The culture at this gym is scared compliance. It’s clear if you question anything your child gets ignored or worse.

My kids have been coming to the gym for a few months. We love seeing how much they have both improved and progressed in such a short time !!
