The best experience I have ever had with a veterinary team. The team (staff and doctors) is amazing! They are so friendly and helpful and care as much about our animals as we do. They made sure we understood everything they were doing and kept us in the loop the whole time our dog was there.

They were great with my pup and calmed him even getting a shot. I received an email the next day checking to make sure my pup was ok. Great follow-up care.

Great vet! Unfortunately, Angela at the front desk was rude and confrontational. She doesn’t explain protocol well, miscommunicates, and has a generally unbecoming presence. I purchased my pup from Petland and in my package i received a handout advertising the wellness plan the Katy area Vetinerinary medical group along with office visit discounts. I attached it for anyone interested to check out. When i asked about the wellness plan, angela seemed annoyed by the question and told me they no longer offered it. She then charged me $75 for the appointment. When i asked about the office visit discount, she condescendingly stated “well, that’s why i told you not to come”. Which was absolutely false. I did not feel supported nor welcomed . In fact, i felt like an annoyance to angela. Absurd. while i do think my fur baby would be in great hands with the staff veterinarians, Angela definitely is not someone i care to encounter again and is a poor representation of the clinic. A true disappointment. If you purchase a pup from Petland Katy, please know that the Katy Area Veterinary Medical Group does NOT have a wellness plan as advertised and the front office desk is unreasonably difficult. I’ve switch over to Dr. Fidelis. He’s treated our family dogs for nearly 20 years and has a wellness plan that’s easy to enroll into. Furthermore, his staff is very attentive, respectful, and always welcoming. Glad to be returning to his team.

Dr Deal is truly one of a kind! We have diabetic dog and he has helped us with his knowledge and support. We have a lot of animals and have been to many vets and we found the BEST!
