I have known Sal for more than 10 years. I have seen the same people servicing this place since it opened. Sal makes money but having a minimum charge on debit card charges eliminates people from buying $ 0.50 with a debit card. The processing fee is a percentage of the overall deposits and very time consuming and frankly very silly. The charge is there for the benefit of the public it keeps the Riff-Raff out. so I do not mind the minimum charge demand. It makes people plan their spending. The service is friendly, prices are fair, for what they do. They supply those people who forgot something at the grocery store, or need gas, or want a munchie, with their morning commute. All in all, Sal's is a great place to "Grab the little things you forgot."

They make you pay minimum of 3 if using debit card. That’s illegal in Texas. They do it because nobody says anything. I’ll be contacting the better business bureau regarding this. Don’t open a business if you can’t afford the fees. Nobody should have to buy more than what they want so you can make more money stealing from people

Great place. I visit several times a month and they know me very well and each employee is very kind and nice to talk to. They always care and ask how I'm doing and carry a conversation with me which makes me feel good and that they appreciate my business. The employee freaked out when I took a picture of their coffee station. Here is the photo that he freaked out about. I took it to show my friend because he was wondering what their coffee set up looked like. That was gonna determine if he was going to get some or not.I did not like the employee’s approach, which is why I gave them a 1 star review.

I love this place the staff is awesome and will go out of their way to help u. Never had any issues and when I needed something that wasn't available the owner will order it asap.
