This place will have you waiting. Pack a lunch, a snack and a pillow, ridiculous. I understand that they had to reschedule do to the hurricane, but let patients know there will be a wait so the patient can make an informed decision to reschedule or keep the appointment. What is it with this place they don't communicate for sh... I can't stand the medical system in Houston it SUCKS!!!
The staff are very nice, however, their process/scheduling NEEDS TO BE REVIEWED!! DO BETTER!

I am disappointed in this retina specialist clinic. Where they never ever cure you because they are only interested in you always being a monthly client and counting on that money as an entry fee. I can even say that they participate in keeping their eyes dry so as not to lose that client or that monthly amount of money since they charge a lot of money and the attention and kindness are the worst I could find. They definitely take advantage of the desperation of people who are losing their vision. It is the worst of the worst in clinic, I have been treating my vision with them for a long time and this is like a monthly income for vision maintenance but it is not a vision recovery for the reason that these professionals do not like us recovering our vision anymore. who lose that monthly income of money. I feel so sorry for the people who are going through this. But we get so desperate that they keep us with stories about the surgery and exams. And this surgery is never performed. Time passes and we pay large amounts to them for their injections and supposed exams. It is not fair that they are taking advantage of those of us who are suffering or going through this problem.

I really liked the attention of all the staff, they are very friendly and professional, the equipment is very modern. Doctor Patrick is very kind, professional and the best thing is he speaks Spanish and explains everything very well. Thank you for the good attention you give and the good service. I totally recommend them 100%.

I am a family member and healthcare advocate for my cousin. His treatment requires monthly injections in the eye to address his condition. Previous treatments have been extremely painful. We sought out a second opinion . We were referred to Dr Amy Schafler. We found Dr. Schafler and her staff were extremely organized and professional with the end result being a pain-free injection and pleasurable experience. I highly recommend her and her team.

Billing department is awful. I'm now scared that they will end up sending me to collections for a bill that they have told me multiple times is incorrect and does not need paid... They say that the bill will be fixed, but after each phone call I still end up receiving a bill in the mail for it. I paid for the correct amount at the time of my visit. I don't understand why that cannot correct the additional amount that they charged in error.

Other than the front desk incident, everyone else was quite polite, professional and and responsiveThe office moved locations and I was not notified. When I mentioned that to the front desk clerk she only responded sarcastically, "that's funny a lot of people have said that today." I wonder why patients weren't notified they'd moved a few miles away? I would have called everyone on them.

Absolutely unbelievably awful! These high ratings MUST be fabricated. The staff is HORRIBLE! Left my 85 year old father waiting for more than 3 hours and he never saw Dr Scheffler. The staff acted shocked when he got up and walked out. I asked them why they would do this to an 85 year old patient who traveled over 150 miles (one way) to the appt and they said “all patients should expect to wait 2,3, 4 or more hours to be seen because Dr Scheffler is an oncologist and she is very busy”. That is an EXACT QUOTE! The nerve. What about the consideration for her patients?? Obviously there is NONE. We witnessed other patients threatening to leave because of the unbelievably long wait times. It was a mess and it seems it’s business as usual for this very unprofessional group and their terrible staff. SHAME ON YOU. We will encourage my Dad to file a complaint with the Texas Medical Board and we will also ask him to consider filing a complaint with his insurance company. Insurance needs to be asked to NOT PAY for this sorry excuse of a medical office. TO ANY PATIENTS THINKING OF GOING TO THIS CLINIC—Please consider going to ANY other doctor. Houston has some great ones!! Dr Amy Scheffler isn’t one of them!

The 5 stars is for Jamila Williams, in the call center. This wonderful young lady has exhibit excellent customer service every time I spoke with her . I ask to speak with her supervisors to let them know she's been amazing. But I never heard from them what ashame !Keep up the amazing work youare doing Jamila Williams.???
