Went on-line and rented a 5X10 AC unit and paid the $72 fee for it. During which the instructions said that if you already have a lock, go to the office and get the 19.99 refund applied to your account. I also wanted to add my wife on the account, also told to go office to do. Received the gate and supposedly the door code by email. Loaded up my SUV and went down. The "office" door is just to access a kiosk, the is no human attendant on the property. The Gate code worked and went to the building. The lock on the building door is an old 30 year old push button keypad with the numbers 1-5 on them. The code for the gate will not work on the building doors. I called the 833 number for support, but received None. I got the managers voice mail and after 3 days, still no Call, Text or email from the manger of the store. I also called the 281 number, also left voice mail, also with no replay in 3 days. Tired of the run around, went to cooperate website and chatted with a support rep and explained the issue and told them to cancel and refund the 72.00 He would not, saying it was after 24 hour's, which is what they told me to do. There is no live person here and should something goes wrong, corporate says too bad we screwed ya, but have a nice day. Going to another company that hopefully has a real person at the store.

NO CUSTOMER SERVICE AT ALL!! You are on your own in this place. They lock gates early and charge way too much. Stay away from the specials cause they go away fast after they hook you.

Pros: Friendly and accommodating staffCons: Access hours are very limitingI have rented with this location for a few years now. Customer service has never been an issue for me here. Particularly Dolapo is awesome!Your access closes at 6pm. Hope they bring it back to the way it used to be and have better access times.

I’ve tried other locations, but this location is definitely the best I have found. Amira is very helpful. She always takes the time to answer my questions and is quick to solve any issues I have. Great customer service!

I recently purchased a unit here. There sign says daily access granted between 6am - 9pm.I have came twice this week the first day I came at 5:50 and was able to get in I went to leave at around 6:03 and the gates were locked I could not exit the property. Why would you lock the gates with someone still inside and why would you lock it before 9pm. The property managers son was still there and had to call her to come open the gates. I then came back another day at 5:55 and again the gates were locked. If your hours are not 6am- 9 pm take that off the gate and put your correct hours.

Their hours online a in person are inaccurate. They open at 9:30 and close at 6.Arrived at the gate at 8:40, sign on the gate says access hours are from 6AM-9PM, but the code box says they’re closed. Called the “after hours” number just for them to tell me I’m out of luck and have to wait for 50 min until they open.

Ashly was fantastic. She walked me through the entire process with a tremendous smile on her face and went above and beyond to ensure that my check-in went smoothly. Additionally, she answered all of my questions and left me feeling like I was in good hands.Customer service seems to be in short supply these days - a list art - but Ashly renewed my hope that it is not completely extinct. If you’re in the Katy area and are in need of storage, I would wholeheartedly recommend this Public Storage location, and that is largely due to Ashly’s wonderful attitude and assistance. I sincerely wish there were more folks like her.

The location is great but their access hours are not convenient for working people. 9:30am-6pm, when all other storage facilities are from 6am-10pm if not 24hrs.

The website shows that access is 6:00 a.m. to 9:00 p.m., same as whenever I signed up, but yet it is 730pm and I cannot get into the gate, yet. I contact there after our support and let them know the issue, she said well they close at 6:00 and I said but on the website it says nine, are you saying that's not correct? Correct? She said well it depends what website? I said your website if this is a corporate call center, and then she said well then yes it is wrong. And I asked for her name, which was Patricia, I asked if she had a ID which I could give to corporate. When I called tomorrow, she said no but this call is being recorded, I said yes it is. I am recording it as well. She then responded with well. If you are recording the call then I need to hang up because I don't give consent, so record me but I can't record you from my safety? This place is extremely shady think I'm going to go back to U-Haul. Glad this happened right before I had to renew

Price was good but not sure for how long cause they can choose to increase any moment. The location I choose never had anyone there and would not return calls or follow up. My location locks gates at 5pm and will lock you in if your not out by 5pm. Other storages stay open longer and will not lock you in. Good luck getting in touch with anyone. Everything is automated.

Price was cheap, but the storage unit after one month of storage showed severe evidence of pest infestation. This was evident with the fecal droppings covering the tops of my boxes, appliances, and furniture. I’m lucky I had wrapped most of my furniture in plastic, but the odor will linger for a couple days after removal from the unit. Overall subpar, would have considered other options if the pests were pointed out from the beginning.
