Updating my review because I appreciate the attempt the owner made to reach out and make it right, and I’ve otherwise had a pleasant experience with the rest of the staff there so far, I’ll chalk the chip thing up to a misunderstanding/miscommunication and say that that doctor was also otherwise friendly too, and I know she at least did a thorough exam because she pointed out things I already knew Chester needed without me mentioning it (dental). We’re on vacation for another week and don’t have good cell service, but I appreciate the efforts staff here have made to address my initial concerns. Me and my babies will be back.

I had a vet that I loved. They suddenly closed during Covid.
I have searched for a vet I thought was good with my dogs & not trying to rip me off.
I saw this practice but never thought to go in. I don’t know why.
I was running out of options, I went in.
I met the nicest veterinarian there. He is in on Mondays . I think he’s great. My dog needed to have her teeth checked. Loose tooth, tarter stinky breath. 5 extractions later her breath does not smell she seems happy. That was done by their surgeon.
So far we’re happy with the care my dogs have been getting.

I took my dog in because allergies made his eyes swell shut. The team and doctor was great, very knowledgeable, and helped with the issue. My dog is doing much better.

I was due to pick up my three pups at 8 am Saturday morning and my husband and I were headed that way when we were involved in a major 5 car accident and my car was totaled though my husband and I were ok - other than cuts and abrasions. I called Pet Medical Center and was unable to reach anyone so left a message but later that day my daughter was able to pick up the dogs for me and the staff was very understanding and helpful. I will board my dogs there again because of that and I was happy to get them back safe and healthy!! They would have kept them longer if necessary they said. Very professional staff and clean facilities mean peace of mind for my husband and myself!! Thank you!!

We love Pet Medical Center of Katy! We’ve been bringing our cat, Sophie, here for the last 5 years! Summer Ellis has always been the best at making sure we understand what is best for our cat with the food, medicines, and long term care. Highly recommend them and ask for Summer!

My dogs Brownie and Mamas love going there!! They always get good care and they always have good service especially the vet tech Summer she was so sweet and she mades my dogs so happy just by seeing her!! I love this vet clinic so much I will go there for as long as I have pets!!

I used to love bringing my cats here. The staff and vet care was phenomenal. However, on my most recent visit I discovered the vets I loved had left. I wish I knew where they went.
Problem 1) they were not truthful in the cost of the solensia shot. I was quoted a price I would pay each month and I asked if there would be any visitation fees added to it whatsoever. I was assured there wouldn't be. Surprise! There were extra fees added.
2) on my most recent visit I wanted to speak to a vet because the solensia was giving my cat diarrhea. I had looked into solensia and on the website it does list diarrhea as a common symptom. The vet and the office manager insisted that diarrhea is a rare symptom and therefore it's likely parasites. The fact the diarrhea starts when she gets her shot and stops if she misses a shot, plus it's listed as a common symptom and she has no other symptoms that would imply parasites, seems clear to me it's the solensia. Thankfully my new vet agrees and is actually doing something about it.
3) my cat has always had thin eyebrows. She's 18 so it's not unusual for her eyebrows to get even thinner. The vet kept saying she's scratching the fur off. I work from home, I'm with her all day, she is not scratching. She did have a small scratch from another cat, which i explained. The vet wasn't interested in hearing what I had to say. He was pretty set on his own diagnosis from the get-go.
I can't trust a facility that won't listen to those of us living with our pets so they can give the best care.
