Mediocre service and ahole management. Never shop at night because they do not have tellers to help and do not wait in the car in front of the store early in the morning because the management will throw a hissyfit. Ugh.

Buyer beware. You gotta be careful at this Kroger and watch your sales transaction when youre ringing up. They put all these bright yellow sales tags around the store on items, as if they'll ring up at that sale price with your Kroger Card, but then when you actually ring them up at the register and scan your Kroger card, the discount isnt applied to all of the sales items.A good 1/4th of my order did not ring up for the sales discounts advertised after scanning my Kroger card. I think theyre relying on hurried customers just going along with whatever total is generated when they ring up, without checking to see if the advertised sales discount is applied. If you dont say anything, they get to pocket that money. Clever, but shady imo.

2/2/24 @ 1720, lane7, the lady, who assisted me get Similac Sensitive has no compassion, does not know any customer service etiquette. Maybe racist. Because I was just on my shirt and shorts on. Maybe she thinks that I am uneducated and homeless.Well hopefully Kroger management will teach their staff about customer service since we love to shop at this location.’

I had problems a couple years ago with an exceptionally rude pharmacy clerk at the Kroger at Grand Parkway and Bay Hill Blvd. So, we changed stores to the Gaston Rd. Kroger Pharmacy. We spend approximately $600 per month at Kroger in groceries, $100+ in fuel, and while we only pay the co-pay on pharmacy, we bring at minimum $800 per month in pharmacy business. So, we are bringing about $16,000 of business to Kroger each year.On December 8, 2023, I went to the pharmacy window at the Gaston Rs Kroger to pick up a prescription for my wife as she was out town. At the window the clerk said I have "two for her to pick up." I ask what the other drug was, He told me the name of the drug. My wife had used it in the past so I picked it up. (I did try to call her, but could not reach here at that moment) The charge was around $135. The prescription she did order was for is a very high cost new drug. So, I didn't think anything of the high co-pay. I assumed she had called this other drug in to the pharmacy. When she got home from her trip she asked why I pick up that drug. I told her I assumed she ordered it. She did not. The drug we did not order turned out to be the $135 charge. We had not opened the bag as it was stapled with the instructions and the receipt. I called to see about returning it, and explained that we did not order it and that my wife no longer takes that drug. The Pharmacist said that if I had contacted her in two or three days after the sale she would have taken it back for a full refund, but because I waited for my wife to return from her trip, it had been 7 days. Obviously, I didn't know she hadn't ordered it on day three.First of all we did not ask for it to be filled. I took it because I recognised it as a drug she had taken. The clerk offered it and I assumed my wife ordered order it. I have no idea what the issue is between 3 days and 7 days, but here is the bottom line:Even if Kroger refunded me and had to take a $135 hit, any manager with an IQ above 50 should understand that a customer doing over $16,000 worth of business is worth taking the $135 hit. Particularity, when they did not order the drug. Now, HEB will get our grocery and fuel purchases, and CVS is our new pharmacy. How very short sighted!KD

Verna, the customer "helper" is so disrespectful. I tried to return something and she called the manager down to help and I heard her belittling me and the worker that helped me earlier in the day. I interrupted and asked if I could just return my items. She made the process much more difficult than it had to be. After I called for an itemized receipt and went back inside of Kroger, Verna told me she couldn't help me because they close at 8, it was 8:10. I go to Kroger every weekend and I have never had a problem like this. She should be fired. My rating is solely based off Verna, Kroger in general is lovely and most employees are very helpful. PS: Bianca, the manager, was lovely and helped me understand why I couldn't do my return, something Verna was unable to do.

I went to the Kroger pharmacy drive-thru to pick up a prescription for my wife, who was out of town and asked me to pick it up. When I got to the window the clerk said he had two prescriptions for her. I ask what the second one was. It was a medication that I know she had used in the past so I accepted it. It had a co-pay of $137. When my wife got back from her trip she saw the bag, read the receipt, and asked why I got it. I told her that I though she called it in. She said she did not and that she had quit taking that drug months ago. I called Kroger Pharmacy and explained that it was picked up by mistake and that we never called it in. I explained that the bag itself had never been opened, the directions, receipt, and staple still in place. She said she would have taken it back if I had called two or three days after the pick-up. I explained that my wife was out of town and we didn't know it was a mistake until she got home a week after. She then said she was sorry and in so many words , have a nice day. I left a message at Kroger Corporate and with the area manager over that Pharmacy. They never responded after some three weeks there has been no reply. My wife and I have tallied up what we spend each year at Kroger Grocery, Pharmacy and Fuel. A low estimate is $16,000 + per year. For a $137 decision by a clerk, and then managment by ignoring our emails, Kroger has lost our patronage of some 20 years. We are already shopping at HEB, and buying gas at Sam's. We will move all of our prescription as soon as we decide which store has the best prices and reasonable customer service. EVEN IF THEY THROUGH THE PRESCRIPTION AWAY, REASONABLE MANGEMENT WOULD REFUND A CUSTOMER IN THIS SITUATION, RATHER THAN LOSE $16,000 WORTH OF ANNUAL BUISINESS. HOW SHORT SIGHTED!

The fact that I'm even bothering to review a grocery store should tell you something. I normally shop at HEB and only came here because it was close to my gym. I grabbed 5 bags of Siete chips on sale, which didn't ring up at the register. At HEB, if you know the promotion and price they just key it in for you. Here I felt like I was being interrogated. Not only did they not take my word for it, they did a price check and STILL got it wrong. I had to physically walk the cashier to the aisle to point out the promotion, which wasted an extra 15 minutes of time. Thank you for reminding me why I never shop here, I won't make that mistake again. Sad, Kroger was my childhood grocery store, but so mismanaged now.

The pharmacy door is supposed to be closed at 8:00 pm. but they decided to start closing it a 6:45 pm., so don’t park close to it thinking that you’ll find it open, you’ll have to walk all the way to the other entrance. Called the manager but they hung up on me. I’m leaving this review at 7:15 pm, but tried going in at 6:45 pm.

Other Kroger locations have always had delicious fried chicken. This location has to have the worst fried chicken of any grocery store chain I've tried. My lord, what are they doing to the fried chicken in that deli.
